OSU Hate Week-Countdown to The Game: Hate for their stadium

The Bucknuts have home field advantage this year in Columbus.  Columbus, not surprisingly, is one of the most miserable places to live in the USA.

Bucknuts affectionately refer to their stadium as The Shoe...everyone else calls it The Toilet.  Lore has it this facility is a converted penitentiary but still...whoever designed this thing must done it as a joke and was surprised when it was actually built.

There are a number of nasty stadiums in the US and one of the worst is located right here in Michigan near the banks of the Red Cedar River in East Lansing.  But even this hellhole is a palace compared to The Toilet.

When you enter this facility you're greeted with the smell of stale beer, dried urine and unwashed ass.  It's not clear if this is a stadium aroma or the thousands of bucknut fans that infest the place on Saturdays.

They do have restrooms for visitors but you need to be careful when using as the locals empty their coolers here making for some nasty splash potential.

Visitors are advised to have all shots up to date, bring sanitary wipes and don't drink the local water.

Feel free to share your OSU stadium stories, gifs or spit some generalized hatred!

Call me crazy, but I really liked the 'shoe both times I was there. Not the games, but the space and atmosphere is ridiculous. It's everything the pageantry of college football should be, just like Michigan Stadium used to be/still is sometimes. (Bonus hot take there.)

Speaking of Ohio stadium, what ever happened to brazen wagers between teams with humiliating consequences for failure?   The Michigan win that led to the Ohio stadium entrance areas being decorated in maize and blue represents the most purely beautiful elements of sport and rivalry.
