Bill Connelly breaks down why this game isn't a walk for Michigan

People have been talking on this board like OSU is a 7-5 team that will only beat Michigan if Michigan spectacularly fails. The reality is OSU is a top 10 team to S&P including a top 5 offense and despite their big play problems are still a top 40 defense. If our big plays aren't turning into TD's and instead turn into field goals we are losing this game.  This game is a 55-60% lean, it is by no means one over matched team just hoping to keep it close like Michigan was trying last year.  This is going to be a tough game that is going to need Michigan to play its best game of the year to win.

I live in Ohio. I hope like hell that Michigan wins and I think they SHOULD win. But it's going to be a close game and I could definitely still see M losing. OSU is still the more "talented" team and if that talent can manage to pull it together for a game, they're going to be a tough out.

The general consensus of most of the OSU fans I run into is the same as mine. Most of them seem to think they will likely lose, but aren't resigned to it being inevitable.

The annoying thing is the growing sentiment of "If Harbaugh can't win this year, when will he?"  They still are basically saying that Michigan will not be any better than they are right now, and OSU will not be any worse. That menatality is why I'm a Michigan fan. None of them see this as a possible long term issue and none of them are entertaining the idea that Urban Meyer might be about to coach his last OSU/Michigan game .

We welcome them to Ann Arbor next year.  We will be better plus home field.  However, this team is ready for the tough road game.

As for Urban, he had so many issues this year, it's hard to imagine next fall being more comfortable for him.  Most telling of anything was how fast Bosa put distance between himself and OSU.

Mich team is tight. Look at the locker room vid after Msu.

Osu doesn't appear so.

Brown - then Bush... is going to make sure the D smacks them in the mouth right off the bat.

lol wow who thinks this game is going to be a walk for Michigan? Sure as shit not me. UM has won this game, what, three times in 18 years? OSU is still stocked full of talent and the game is in columbus.

With all due respect this is one of those articles people write about reasoning why everyone shouldn't think a certain way they are not even thinking anyway lol.

Michigan will have to score over 40 points to win this game. Settling for field goals won’t get it done.
