This.
The older I get, the more I realize the importance of a good fit... whether that be a coach at a football program, a player for a team or an employee at a company.
The difference between "success" and "failure" many times can come down to fit and environment.
I know I would have seriously considered leaving my field, if I had to continue working at some of the places I worked for 6-9 months before I realized (for different reasons) it was not a good fit.

I thought Walker was going to be a killer here. I wish him the best.

Good luck Kareem. Sorry it didn't work out for you to finish here, but it was good having you on the team and appreciate you wanting to be at Michigan instead of OSU and everywhere else, and your good effort at Michigan.

Glad he seems to have landed on his feet, and is going to a school with a good offensive coaching staff.

We'll see if stardom is in the future for Walker. He was a backup at Fort Scott Community College this season and averaged 3.2 yards per carry. He was third in yards per carry (and on the depth chart) behind a couple 0-star recruits, so it wasn't even a Kingston Davis situation where a bunch of former 4-stars were looking for a second chance and he was the worst of the former 4-stars.
Walker had a nagging injury, and it seems to have affected him for several years now. I don't know if he'll ever get back to running as well as he did when he was a sophomore/junior in high school.
