As great as our games against Wisconsin and MSU were, both of them should have been over much sooner than they were.  We had a habit of of leaving points on the field.

Iowa did that very thing yesterday and it came back to kill them.  They should have had about a three touchdown lead on PSU in the second quarter.

How about we put the game out of reach in the first quarter, just like the 49-10 game two years ago?  Please?

Also, I've noticed that Franklin has gotten much more animated on the sidelines the last two years.  I think he's surpassed Pat Fitzgerald.  Just makes me want to beat him even more.

Their game against Iowa couldn't have gone much better for Michigan. I feel like the score was high and close enough that they had to show off some of the playbook for Brown to download and destroy. They also ended up winning, which improves the quality of a potential win.

Downside is that I think their defense has really improved, based on the Iowa game. Their young players had impressive recruiting profiles, and they've matured rapidly.

Maybe its the BPONE but this game scares me. Penn State has not had that Chuck and pray game that works for them yet and it feels like they're due. I have to take Penn State and the points.

I'm with you 100%. It's not hard to envision a UM offense coming out flat as balls and the game thread comments reading "WTF has this team been doing" over and over.

One thing though...the way Don Brown has spoken about psu when asked makes me feel like this defense will come out on fire. PSU has major receiver issues as well. If they can shut down the run including TM, which is no small feet, I feel good even if the offense starts slow.
