Everyone please chill

We just played a top 10ish team on the road, at night, in our first game of the year.  We were 50 yards away from tying the game at the end.  The teams were fairly even all game long, despite the score for 3 quarters.  Anyone saying we were outclassed is just being silly.  It was a close game.

Patterson did great.  Neither TO was fully on him.  The INT he shorted out of bounds while getting hit.  The fumble was bound to happen.  Even McCaffery did well (I see you mineral king).

The defense was shell shocked but settled down into what we will see all year.

The play calling was fine, aside from a couple plays.  The 2 minute drill is impossible to run with a porous O-line.  You have to let them get their blocking somewhat figured out.  I didn't have any problem with our play calling.  Don Brown adjusted well, the offense did a good job of hiding the bad play on the line.

Which... did play horribly.  We can only hope that Warriner can make improvement over the year.  They have time, but they could be what kills the season.

We are not out of anything.  Still control our own destiny.  We would have destroyed App State, Utah State, and Oregon State.  Our conference looks beatable.

This loss means very little in the scheme of things.

I think the youth movement will now fully commence on the OL. Look for Hudson to start the next game and maybe even Mayfield.

It seems like this team is always close to but never makes the key plays. Very puzzling as to why this keeps happening.

Some of you need to wake up and shed the integrity bs. Safe spaces don’t work in cfb. You think this is the nfl and blocking will be ideal. It isn’t. This is game for killers plain and simple. Saying if was close or any other garbage excuse proves you do not understand the big picture. Until Harbaugh coaches aggressively offensively this isn’t going to be good enough. Stop lying to yourself and demand more.

Why do all you cynics  think  that Bo wanted to play ND in game 2? This was a sinking ship that plugged holes and stayed afloat after taking 3 torpedoes. This isn't Brady Hoke 37-0. Like the man says, chill. Talk to me after MSU.

We’ve had 0 respectable offensive lines since Molk left. What a steaming pile of crap those tackles are. They’ve had 4 years to figure out how to block a spin move and they look like helpless freshmen. Watch out for every offense pinning their ears back and lighting us up again.

Yeah, I'm gonna chill.  I'm gonna chill and stop watching this hot garbage, that Jimbo is trying to pass off as good football.

This team is SOFT, from top to bottom.

Maybe it's going to take us losing the overall wins & %, along with OSU passing us in the win column in "The Game".

I'm sick of this program's arrogance and insistence on living in the past.

Just wait until next year!! That will finally be the year!! Program is stuck in the past. Time to stop worshiping Bo. He was overrated anyway. Harbaugh is not the answer.

I wouldn't say Bo was overrated, but he didn't win a Natty.  If Harbaugh isn't the answer who is?  I mean you've tried a ichigan man and a non ichigan man, you might be running out of options.

Lol here we go again. The same people every year telling everyone to relax

This game meant a lot. If we won we would have a little cushion for the rest of the season. It would've been a rivalry win to silence critics. It would've been good on our resume

We can still win the big. I know wete better than PSU and MSU. OSU will slaughter us. Wisconsin is a toss up

Please just drop the relax bullshit. This team has the talent to contend for a playoff spot yet is still underachieving

Our fans are the worst. We actually weren't that terrible last night and we had BS targeting call and ND got away a lot of holding. But it's cool to blame the team and coaches, though.

Shitty defensively in first half; our ends just race 100 mph outside towards qb; tackles just allow this and push them away; the speed rushes are worthless. The defense needs to disguise better; disappointed in the defense. ND took their foot off the pedal in 2nd half; our secondary will give up big plays. Offense was not good either; Shea put up decent number but most passes were short outs or screens. Offensive line looks bad; doesn’t look good enough to beat psu, msu, wisc, or osu....we will be fortunate to win 8 games.

Wait, what???  4 years of "chillin" is enough.

What you fail to realize is that JH is NOT the guy.  He is not a good coach. He be great in the MAC or the GLIAC but not here. He's lost it. He talks about "enthusiasm unknown to mankind" but doesn't show it. Why isn't he coaching on the sidelines? Getting into their faces and generating this "enthusiasm"? He's got it too good here at Michigan and he's not accountable to anyone. And you,  @1464, sir are an enabler of mediocrity.

Until OL out of hibernation, the whole football program is in hibernation.

Honestly, the only REAL updates I think I really need to read (or should have read since RichRod) are strictly regarding OL.

That's it.

God Bless, and Go Blue!

Jim Harbaugh had a month to prepare for south Carolina and an offseason to prepare for Notre Dame. The last two products on the actual football field, and in the W/L columns are not good.

Sure, the team can win out and make the CFP but people who actually watched the football being played know that isn't going to happen. If you're going to ignore the W/L columns and/or final scores of games, it should be the exception, not the rule.
