The empty seats you can see in the background illustrates how long it took attendance to get up to the capacity crowds we normally expect now: the attendance for that game was just 68,168.

For a team that was ranked #2 in the country at the time.

It's such a beautiful day today in SE Michigan. I was driving home from Meijer this morning just thinking, man, not too many more of these Saturdays and we will have football! Time to enjoy the last handful of summer weekends we have and get ready for some football. I want to party long into the morning of September 2nd celebrating an ass kicking down in South Bend.
