There are...
...days until Thom Darden (S 1969-1971) sees an improved Michigan defensive backfield, that destroys and intercepts all passes, leading to a Wolverine victory in South Bend!

Go Blue and To Hell With Notre Dame!
For today's video, there is only one thing it could be:
I can't wait until we're on the good side of these plays again when we're up against that team. Thanks Dr. Sap and enjoy!
Gotta give an honorable mention to Joe Bolden.
Unlike Mr. Darden though, Bolden happened to be on the wrong side of the worst targeting call ever. I have never been so furious at Michigan Stadium in all my life:
That game alone led me to find out who John O’Neill is
I may or may not have found his LinkedIn page and sent inflammatory emails about him to his employer
Of all the horrendous targeting calls, that has to be the worst one. How can someone review that and say the call is confirmed? The automatic ejection needs to be amended to second time offenders.
I cannot recall many moments in Michigan Stadium where I was that visibly upset, and I am one of those people with an incredibly long fuse. That call burned through most of that fuse in one go.
The call on the field was bad but to let it pass the replay official is either complete incompetence or corruption. Bad officials are the worst thing about college football.
My entire section looked like Harbaugh did.
That pic of Darden shows him returning a punt in the '71 game against Navy.
The empty seats you can see in the background illustrates how long it took attendance to get up to the capacity crowds we normally expect now: the attendance for that game was just 68,168.
For a team that was ranked #2 in the country at the time.
That game was their third consecutive . shutout too. They should've offered free sodas.
When I think 35 and Michigan Stadium I remember the one time I ushered in sec 35. Cold toes and Maple Leaf fans with Coors slushies. Todayshould be bette --77 deg. and Man U fans with Heinekenes.
great pic SB, but i confess a bit of disappointment that you aren't sporting any red wings swag, especially in that sea of leafs fans. LGRW!
It's ingrained at birth to not wear red in Michigan Stadium. No matter the circumstance.
you have a point, but then i guess we never should've had the wings game then.
But OSU does not wear red, they were scarlet.
Wear red to cheer on the wings all you want.

Wish I could edit on this new and improved site.
I was there too. West side of the stadium. Not sure what section. It was bitter. My wife wasn't dressed for it. I had a bunch of hunting clothes on.
It's such a beautiful day today in SE Michigan. I was driving home from Meijer this morning just thinking, man, not too many more of these Saturdays and we will have football! Time to enjoy the last handful of summer weekends we have and get ready for some football. I want to party long into the morning of September 2nd celebrating an ass kicking down in South Bend.
