Michigan blogger career trajectories
I'm sort of interested in where some people in the Michigan blogosphere have started/ended up in recent years. There was recently a discussion on the Marlon Mack post about The M Block potentially shutting down because Brandon Brown is here at MGoBlog and Eric just went to Maize 'n' Brew. For example...
I beleve Tom Van Haaren got his start at MGoBlog, did his URecruit thing on the side, and then got picked up by Wolverine Nation/ESPN.
Brandon Brown started off at The M Block and moved here to MGoBlog.
Steve Lorenz started at Tremendous and moved to 247 Sports.
Ace started off at The Wolverine Blog and moved to MGoBlog.
Tim Sullivan started at Varsity Blue, moved to MGoBlog, and now works for The Wolverine.
Any corrections/additions to the list?

i think he goes by EFWolverine in the lesser known but similarly named umgoblog, where he is a frequent poster and handles recruiting.

Looks like there's a recent post. It's a bit of a downer.

I always enoyed his Reqiuem pieces. Gave great in depth thoughts on Michigan athletes that were so important to the program.

I've been here off and on since the late Carr era. This account serves me well and I will maintain it in the forseeable future. I wrote a few diaries concerning Michigan Men's Tennis which were definitely high points of my career. Preview for 2014: Men's tennis is middle of the pack, Women's tennis can and will compete for a B10 title.
Future plans involve keeping it real and holding myself and others accountable for their words and actions.

I amount of talent out there for Michigan blogs is amazing. There's so many great writers and reporters. As someone who works in journalism, it surprises me that more people aren't in the field, but then I look at my bank account, and I understand.

what about that guy who used to blog for cookies??!!! (and got into some kind of attribution war with Brian?)
and of course Johnny - who knows what he is up to.
as for me, I wrote a few diaries and have generally found that mgoblog has surprisingly little impact on my career.

I grew to tolerate and then enjoy you as a poster here (even though I always respected your opinion), but I fournd your blog immediately enjoyable once I tried it out. I actually find you more level-headed and more stable of a blog owner/moderator at TTB than Brian is here. I think you have something to offer the internet and college football realm; I am just not sure what that is yet or how to differentiate yourself. I do know that you offer some good insght on the games over at TTB. And the plain language you use (rather than the mixture of showy, adolscent, and technical used here) is alway apprecaited.
