MBB vs Charlotte Open Thread
Looks like that 6:30 start isn't going to happen as the FSU vs Northeastern game still has 8 min left.
Anyway, here is an open thread for the game.

I can tell you first hand, as a Duke fan, that won't happen unless Duke improve IMMEASURABLY.

So you're a Manchester United fan, Duke basketball fan, and Michigan football fan? Seems legit.

I'm afraid I don't see your point. Oh, wait, you must discreetly be calling me a 'bandwagon' or 'fairweather' fan, aren't you? Good one. Like I haven't heard it before. Like I haven't witnessed shitty seasons by the teams I support but never waivered.

Just something that happens. Choices are made. Basketball has always been my favorites sport and Duke were always my family's #1, so I went with them. Michigan football is just something I adopted due the my family's distaste for Staee.
Duke and Michigan are hardly at the top of either sport, FWIW.

Nah, at the very worst it will be the same 10-point margin with which they bounced your Spartans from the tourney this year.

"Dook" should have lost to 1-4 Vermont at home today.

The team will be fine. They are ballers.

I am, in all seriousness, really, really looking forward to softball season. 6 straight Big Ten titles is my kinda Michigan team. We may not win it all, we may not even win the Big Ten, but we'll win a lot of games and have a talented, well-coached team that brings it at a high, high level, game in and game out. February can't get here soon enough. Everything else except for women's soccer has totally blown.

Nice, that is a great call. Very affordable, a good number of games, and a quality team to watch. For the last few years I've been trying to make it back for a game or two, but living in DC I can't do more than that. I really hope we get to host a regional again this year, because I think I will probablybe home then. Alumni Field is just flat-out one of the greatest places to watch a game and enjoy an afternoon that I know of. Enjoy your season tix, wish I could do the same!
