I know we like to only have game threads when they lose so we can bitch at Jim Leyland (I keed, I keed), but how about them Tigers?
Tied with the tribe right now in the 7th. If they pull this game out, I'm ready to give us the division.

The 1927-28 Tiger looks scared as sh-t... though that probably came from having to face Ruth, Gehrig and company.

This team looks really good right now. The bullpen is pitching lights out... Bonderman looked great!
Even with Miggy hobbling, and replaced in extras, we still found a way to pound out a win (although it was close in the bottom of the 14th).
I'm liking the addition of Iglesias, as well. As the OP noted, I think the Division is ours... We have Cleveland's number, and we play a ton of games against the White Sox down the stretch... It's going to be fun!
Let's save a little of this magic for October... heck, even some competent play in the World Series would have resulted in at least one championship. We should have smoked the Cardinals and last year's Giants should have been a 7 game coin flip at worst.
