Taylor Swift won the best female award, and in the middle of her speech, Kanye came up on stage and took the mic.
He said something like, "Taylor, congratulations. I'm happy for you and I'm gonna let you finish." Then he turned to the crowd and said, "But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Of all time." And then he left the stage.

I don't have a television. YouTube is taking vids of the incident off the board like it's MLB material. Could someone give the board a 30-second summary? Ideally it would be all the raunchy, crazy, silly, or weird stuff that happened.
I'm sadly serious about this request. I made the move to internet-only a while back, and usually don't care too much about these kerfluffles, but I'm always down for a schadenfreude fest or a popculturelolz.

No kidding. It doesn't change the fact that Swift's night and memories of her first VMA were probably ruined, but it was the best possible thing Beyonce could have done.
FishSticks has posted an apology on his "Blog" already, for whatever that's worth. He types like a 7 year old, to match his personality.

Some of his old music is okay, but when auto-tune became popular him and Lil' Wayne decided to be idiots and turn into singers instead of rappers. Kanye is at least better than Wayne at singing but they're both pretty bad. On top of that, he's a huge baby and he throws a fit every time something doesn't go his way.

That freestyle of his at the end of the second song was decent, tho...Idk, I just like his music. It's about the only hip-hop I listen to.

His rapping is ok, but he rarely has a song where he just raps anymore. He's trying to use notes, and doesn't know how. I'm with you though... there are a few songs I like, but I hate the guy.

Ever since he lost his Mom hes gon off the deep end. I wouldnt be surprised if has a severe drug problem or severe psychological issues that he needs help with. His behaviour and actions ever since his moms passing have been totally different then from when his mom was alive.
Just my e-pinion tho. Take it for what its worth.

Kanye being Kanye ... i think he does that dumb shit for 2 reasons ..1 publicity and 2 because he is a obnoxious grown man who still throws fits like he is 7 when things dont go his way.
Also nice to see Beyonce call Taylor up when she won and let Taylor finish her speech.

Kanye is an asshole and an attention whore* but that wont make me enjoy College Dropout(04) any less. His attitude is terrible but what has resonated with me is the contrast between his massive ego and his child-like self awareness in his music. Sick beats go without saying.

That said, Kanye seems to be having some type of breakdown. His behavior over the last few years seems to be increasingly erratic. Sadly, because he has money nobody will get him the help he needs.
