Pros - are that he has a great rep as both offensive minded and works with WR, which is two checks that needed to be addressed.

Cons- He has no direct play calling exp.

Seems like this is solid based on that the play calling is by committee with JH being the final stop on it. Hopefully the new young mentality will throw a couple more knock out blows as opposed to the body blows.

10/23/2017 - 12:28pm Personally

I'm looking forward to the time under harbaugh when he has an offensive line that isnt relying on true freshman for back ups.

10/10/2017 - 5:44pm Tackles

I think overall production of tackles will be better.

If Newsome comes back and is at least 80% of what he was before that's stablinzing the line. RT we have a few choices in Filigia and Stuber who are locked for RS's because freshman. One of those two I think will be the starter. The rest of the Oline is probably good with Bredeson, Ruiz, onwenu/runyan.

QB - I'm hoping by this point we will see one of Harbaugh's Qb's come in and play. Although Speight could finish out I would hope we move on at that point.

11/14/2016 - 11:29am Personally

It seems like we have a huge issue playing manball teams.

Wisconsin, Iowa were battles and MSU with some great tackling from their offensive line kept it close at the end. Spreadish teams we seem to have well in hand.

09/25/2016 - 1:35am Peppers

The oline for penn st so worried about peppers shoot the gap they didn't block the dline

09/17/2016 - 9:46pm I miss

Boring safeties

05/18/2016 - 12:57pm WIll

Braylon try to tell Harbaugh he doesnt know Michigan's tradition of the 1 Jersey.

12/03/2015 - 12:32pm I get that, but he was still

I get that, but he was still getting paid for the nfl so was willing to take a smaller paycheck. Was wondering if we had another year to keep him cheap.

12/03/2015 - 12:08pm Fisch

How much longer do we get to keep him on the cheap? that could create an extra spot in theory.

12/02/2015 - 6:00pm Hasnt Greg

Been recruiting him the last two years. It would seem like if Greg stays that is a better indicator. And if Greg goes it will be to retire, he wont want to leave his grandkids.

11/18/2015 - 6:01pm Darboh

Starting to remind me a bit of Avant.

11/13/2015 - 4:36pm Starting

To feel pretty damn lucky we got this sorted last year with a top tier coach. Gonna be a crazy offseason.

10/14/2015 - 2:47pm Dudley

Dudley for me. I remember when carr wouldnt give him a touch inside the one. All that guy wanted is to try for a touchdown. Harbaugh would have given him that, he had earned it.

09/21/2015 - 3:45pm At least

02/10/2015 - 2:31pm Gentry

God i look at him and i think man, Jim wants his own Flacco

01/07/2015 - 2:44am oregon

here as well

12/16/2014 - 11:59am The difference

I feel like the overall optimism is so much better this time around. I remember last time with Hoke where Brian was always pointing out it was going to be Hoke, no if and or but about it.

This time it seems like the overall optimism for Harbaugh is incredibly strong. Amazingly so.

Its nice to have. Even if it's not Harbaugh seems like MGOBLOG is overly optimistic.

It's refreshing.

12/03/2014 - 9:22pm does it matter??

the more important piece of it is if he does get Harbaugh, is the AD to work with Jim afterwards

but yes it would be massive

12/02/2014 - 9:08pm my list

tbh my list is as follows
1. jimmah
2. mullen
3. shaw
4. Herman
5. miles

12/02/2014 - 2:29pm BIG TEN

BIG TEN

10/03/2009 - 7:49pm Agree

I felt pretty good. Our D kept us in the game while the offense faltered, and was managing to cause some turnovers and fumbles. I thought i would be a bit more disappointed with the loss, but it didnt feel as bad as i thought it would. We have pulled through on some clutch moments, and we played hard and we play hard all game. It is great to see how far we have come changing everything from the Carr era to know and how quickly the change is happening.

09/20/2009 - 11:17am Vlad

I have noticed his number out there a lot on special teams.

09/20/2009 - 1:35am And it seemed to me that when

And it seemed to me that when called upon, sagasse stepped up as a good back up and was able to get into the backfield.

09/19/2009 - 7:48pm well

I think we know now why Carroll threw such a fit when sanchez left. He obviously did not think he had much at the qb position.

Lockler is a great qb, and not to mention sarksesian is changin the culture at Udub.

And do we really have any place to bash USC's loss to them being ranked what they were?

09/14/2009 - 10:54pm ND

One of my good friends is an irish fan so ill root for them against sparty, and i would rather us beat a really good ND team than a sub-par only good in the B10 team like sparty. And quite frankly ill give jimmah a +1 for being classy at the end of the game.

09/13/2009 - 11:28pm those are the types of

those are the types of actions that make people legends, not what kanye does

09/13/2009 - 8:54pm BTN

I'm glad that Comcast got it a year ago or so and that they also got espn 360 as i live wa. state. And its nice to see michigan related events like hockey, wrestling in general, and the classic michigan football games.

09/13/2009 - 1:48pm Turner

I think it would be interesting to see J.Turner up against floyd in a redzone D. he has the height to compete with floyd and he could bump him and not have to defend a deep threat.

09/13/2009 - 11:09am Odoms

So far hes the unsung hero of the season after two games, Hes had two huge blocks that have resulted in TD's. One for denard last week and a huge one for stonum on the kickoff return.
BTW was anyone else surprised to see how fast moundros was when he was trucking after stonum on the return

09/09/2009 - 12:14pm Whoa

There is very little about him on rivals. This offer was behind a pay wall that i pay to see, and even then there was very little. All i was attempting to do was pass on that there might be another DT that we were pursuing that was not listed on our boards here. And as for the rest i was trying to follow the rules set down by Brian and just pass on some news that i pay out of pocket to see

09/09/2009 - 10:49am Bayless

He has been pretty supportive towards michigan since this allegation was released. He was one of the first on espn to blow off the allegations and continued to do so. He would rather see the ncaa spend its time investigating schools that pay their players to be there (I am looking at you mr. reggie bush.)

09/09/2009 - 10:31am Sorry

There wasnt a lot on him through rivals ad it was just in there forums which is why i did not post a link. And it was posted in the late evening. And the offer is supposedly recent and i thought since he was not on the board here i would point out there might be another DT we were going after.

09/05/2009 - 10:53pm I saw him in for a few plays

I saw him in for a few plays in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

09/05/2009 - 10:46pm what was great about that

what was great about that block is that the opponent stopped and tay ran down the field looking to block more. That was great play on his part. What heart that kid has. He is a football player.

09/05/2009 - 8:15pm Odoms

He threw a vicious block on Denards run in touchdown i believe

09/05/2009 - 1:33pm The only beer for me on game

The only beer for me on game day is arrogant bastard ale.

09/04/2009 - 9:55pm Finally

someone finally telling the michigan alumni to just get over themselves. and thats what they need. They havent listened to Leach so maybe they'll listen to espn. one can only hope

09/04/2009 - 9:46pm Desmond

is now a drone of the UM hating machine known as ESPN

09/04/2009 - 2:06pm Personally

I would like to believe that booboo is an upgrade to trent. I would like to see him play more press as opposed to 7 yards off like trent always seemed to be.

09/01/2009 - 1:29pm The Grady Bros

A bubble screen to Kelvin who does a behind the back juke breaks into a bit of space while his brother beer trucks over the secondary and grady scores.

08/31/2009 - 12:23pm I thought bayless thought

I thought bayless thought this was a non issue. He said the problems stem from having a bad season. I dislike bayless quite a bit but thought he would have attacked michigan more. Instead he blew it off and said he would rather worry about teams that cheat at signing than a team that practices too much.

08/27/2009 - 7:56pm RBs

I think this shows how much sc is going to plan on running the ball at people. They have some stellar rb's so they will be able to run all day and pass if they absolutely have too. if any of those backs break loose at all they will be gone.

08/21/2009 - 11:39pm Not to mention that he will

Not to mention that he will prolly be an OLB in a 3-4 and with more defenses in the nfl going to the 3-4 he could be valuable.

08/13/2009 - 1:11pm Down

i havent been able to access anything on rivals either

08/12/2009 - 7:38pm Graham

I was reading on rivals, and i will admit i might have been reading into it wrong, but it almost sounded to me like graham was saying we might be running more of a 3 man front this year or maybe a 3 man and bringing a lb to come stand at the line. He's really high on Martin opening up the oline with him. I personally would like to see those two tear into a line and roh come flying through free and eat the qb.

08/11/2009 - 1:09pm MMA

MMA I prefer because you can follow athletes from several different backgrounds and styles. Boxing is a life long pursuit in one discipline. you make it or you don't. But take wrestling, a person can spend 25 years wrestling from being a child through college and perhaps a run at the olympics, but there is not much they can do after that, they dont get to sell grills or be in movies. They have to find something else, and it gives them a great ability to use what they have done throughout their life and grow and fight as something different.

Ive ppv'd several boxing and mma events. Boxing always left me disappointed. it always felt like a waste of money, espcially considering how much more an event is. They have fewer fights, and not much happens in those fights. And to be honest the best boxing matches ive seen usually involved Rocky

While there have been bad mma ppv's like Anderson Silvas title defense, there have also been great ones where you felt like you truly got your moneys worth. And usually a mma ppv has enough fights you will get to see at least one memorable fight whether it was a knockout or just an action packed 15 mins.

03/23/2009 - 10:08am GRob

Ive also noticed that he is actually a part of the interviews. I don't remember Shafer doing interviews for mgoblue. Seems like RR got what he wanted a coach who will run multiple D's, instead of just a 4-3. Seems like this is a better fit and that he is already part of the family like Shafer never really was.

01/02/2009 - 1:43pm cousin

of fitzgerald T. grades are supposedly holding him back. Says M coaches have been in contact with him. (rival$)
