Three OSU Players Linked to Alleged Rape
At this point, they have just been named in a search warrant filed by police. To be very clear, I am not making any accusations, but it seems like something to keep an eye on. No charges have been filed.

It sounds like she didn't report the incident until November.
oh ok i missed that. well if it has been that long then i would say the cops have some pretty good idea if its true and what really happened.
hey, its the author of the abc6 article!
or was it an alleged rape? There are plenty of places to go read about these things. I don't especially care to see them posted until they are a bit farther down the path toward guilt.
I'll get down from my soap box now.
story stated 3 freshman on the football team
Reported in November. Search warrant in March. Is that kind of delay typical?
i would say its a little long but one thing is usually sure is that if it has taken this long they have their facts straight and a soild case. the town i live in has had a investagtion going on since nov. on a firemen stealing money from the union and a charity and it just now came out.

I didn't see the story before it was pulled. Was the warrant just served now, or was it just unsealed now?
If they were in fact innocent, I hope they are acquitted or the charges are dropped. If they were guilty, I hope they are convicted.
Yes, this pretty much sums up the goals of the legal system.
But....but....but.....what about the Circle of Trust??? Someone has some 'splaining to do....
the most amazing comment on 11W is that someone said the media blew up the tat5 case because TP's mom bought him a car at fair market price. lol wut??
I gotta give props when I see it. The overall tone of the comments on that thread is entirely too reasonable and sane. What in the world is going on???

He looks the other way so much he dismisses a future heisman winner from his team cause a lot of coaches decide thats a good idea. I wont claim Urban Meyer is any better than any other coach but he isn't the slime that michigan and now florida fans try to make him out to be. Read the arrest reports of most of the kids he allowed to stay on the team, a good portion of the kids never got convicted of anything. And yes he did have a lot of kids arrested while at florida but i bet if coach hoke and co. were in florida and not ann arbor the arrest rates would go up for them as well

oh so Florida the state is the problem? How many players from Ohio has been arrested over the last 10 years compared to Ann Arbor? Dont act like the culture in Columbus is better than Floridas.

I am saying there are more potential distractions in florida than in ohio that could lead to a kid getting into trouble and actaully coach hoke has had 8 players arrested since he's been the coach at michigan thats more than ohio state has had in the same amount of time....
/my two cents

Just go away. Your bias is showing.

Meyer kicked two defensive backs off the team last year for a lot less than this.
this seems like a strange thread to upvote
keeping it classy, i see
That boils down to: "We should act like Ohio fans." That might be the single stupidest thing ever written on the Internet.

ProcheGoBlue, we're supposed to be above this sort of tasteless humor, especially in a thread of this nature.

No, not "whatever man." This is a loud hint not to be an asshole. Take it and learn from it.

Not sure we should blame it all on testosterone levels though. I seem to recall some study that said athletes actually commit crimes at the same or lower rates as equivalent non athletes.
