Say what you want about our abomination jerseys, but thank GOd we didn't look that bad with the split helmets.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:00 PM ^
is hurt right? That's why he's not playing I presume.
So Magnus, how come you think Shane isn't ready for this level yet, competition in HS, mechanics?
January 5th, 2013 at 2:03 PM ^
Yeah, Fox has a torn ACL.
Shane's mechanics are fine. But his high school competition wasn't very good, he missed a big chunk of his senior year, and he stares down receivers. I don't think he's ever thrown a ball to his right. He's also a pocket passer, and the pass protection in these all-star games is questionable. He'll get there eventually, but he's not there yet.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:09 PM ^
Magnus, you've been around these parts for quite some time. Now what makes you think that rationality has any place here? You seem to be forgetting that everyone else on this message board graduated high school and immediately started their post doctorate at Yale. So why can't Shane do the same thing with football?
January 5th, 2013 at 2:12 PM ^
I guess it's because I graduated high school and immediately started my post-doctorate at Brown.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:23 PM ^
let's hope he is indeed the real deal
January 5th, 2013 at 2:03 PM ^
much like the Semper Fei game...this game also looks light years better than that ESPN production last night.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:03 PM ^
Coach Jack can take care of that...
Now they give him the ball and he missles his way for a 1st down.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:05 PM ^
hits the hole, goes north and south, please come to Michigan, even the announcer says you look like a Wolverine, yessss
January 5th, 2013 at 2:06 PM ^

January 5th, 2013 at 2:06 PM ^
I agree Woodson, he does look like a Michigan back.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:06 PM ^
Green looks faster and quikcer than I expected, but I haven't seen him break tackles or run over anyone the way I would expect a guy of his stature to.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:09 PM ^
He's got to lower his pad level a little bit...I haven't seen him lower his shoulder and guys and just grabbing his legs and dragging him down.
With that said, it's down after 7-8 yards.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:11 PM ^
Agree...his vision looks pretty good though.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:07 PM ^
Anyone seen him out there?
January 5th, 2013 at 2:09 PM ^
Yup...seen him standing around a lot. He's been in quite a few snaps, but I haven't seen him thrown at yet. But, he sure looks good standing there lol
January 5th, 2013 at 2:10 PM ^
I saw him, but not for long. He didn't get beat...so that's good.

January 5th, 2013 at 2:13 PM ^
sucks he's going to ND.
Oh well, I'll take a Green for their Smith.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:13 PM ^
Did you guys know Robinson and Smith are going to ND?
January 5th, 2013 at 2:14 PM ^
Good God. I DON'T CARE ABOUT DAVID ROBINSON
January 5th, 2013 at 2:18 PM ^
This is on NBC and they slurp the Irish like ESPN slurps the SEC....
January 5th, 2013 at 4:04 PM ^
So when's BTN gonna start their own all-star game? They should hijack the Semper Fidelis game and only talk about how great the big ten recruits are
January 5th, 2013 at 2:15 PM ^
Weezy F. Baby.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:15 PM ^
I was slightly hoping when lemming left the pro ND Army game would at least subside a little bit....I was wrong about that.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:16 PM ^
David Robinson served in our country's military and has a son in the game. Let it go.
January 5th, 2013 at 3:01 PM ^
Happy for his son though.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:16 PM ^
Texas A&M
January 5th, 2013 at 2:17 PM ^
How many WRs can one school have?
January 5th, 2013 at 2:18 PM ^
TAMU says 10.
...and counting.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:17 PM ^
loses out on a prospect.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:18 PM ^
Now knows why every kid in the country is going to TAMU.
Thanks Mike. Can I get the lottery numbers?
January 5th, 2013 at 2:18 PM ^
What are they going to do with ten wide recievers? I think I heard that right
January 5th, 2013 at 2:19 PM ^
Now that they're in the SEC and don't have to follow any rules, they're going to run the A-10 offense next year.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:19 PM ^
I think that is their 35th recruit in this class. A&M is picking up that SEC oversigning thing like a champ!
January 5th, 2013 at 2:20 PM ^
Also early enrollees and redshirts.
We can't play 6 OLmen at the same time, but we'll be fine just like A&M.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:18 PM ^
loses out on a prospect. Stevens could be a pretty good WR at A&M.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:38 PM ^
January 5th, 2013 at 2:19 PM ^
January 5th, 2013 at 2:21 PM ^
This is turning into one big advertisement for ND, NBC, Rivals, ND, the Robinson (ND), and ND occasionally interupted by a play. NBC does it again.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:22 PM ^
...now can we just move on and understand what's going on?
This is NBC, not the B1G Network.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:21 PM ^
sounds like alabama is having the same "problem" at RB as TAMU is at WR
January 5th, 2013 at 2:23 PM ^
Bama has 3 RBs in this game...wtf? How does Saban do it? Plus Lacy is coming back and Yeldon is a true freshman. I don't understand how he convinces that many guys at the same position of a high caliber to sign.
January 5th, 2013 at 3:05 PM ^
January 5th, 2013 at 6:47 PM ^
Gray shirts don't work like that. They work where an incoming recruit, like say Luke Del Rio pay their own way an doesn't get a scholarship to the team. Or the player just flat out delays their enrollment half a year. They are told if a scholly opens up in the winter or spring, then they can get one.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
Don't forget about Dee Hart
January 5th, 2013 at 6:49 PM ^
After coming back from two ACL's and with all of those RBs coming in behind him, I doubt Dee ever sees the field again for Alabama. We'll probably hear transfer rumors around July/August when Bama needs to get down to 85 scholarships.
January 5th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
...wait, shouldn't it be the other way around?
