2014 LB Michael Ferns skips MSU visit after visiting Michigan
Per Sam Webb, 2014 LB Michael Ferns has skipped his visit to Michigan State after visiting Michigan yesterday. Both Webb and Steve Wiltfong from 247 made a point to update on Ferns during the middle of his visit, talking about how great it was apparently going. Ferns doesn't do many interviews, so I can't add much to it, except that it's funny that another top prospect (Ferns is likely to be a high four-star across the board) didn't quite make it to East Lansing.
That was supposedly the case before his Michigan visit. I would wait until his next interview to see where he's at now.
All I can tell you for sure is that he's not a Michigan State lean.
WE DON'T NEED TOP 100 RECRUITS. WE DEVELOP TALENT. GO GREEN.
Amen brother. Top 100 talent is for crappy teams that make a BCS bowl more than once every 2 decades.
According to Rivals, he's sporting a 4.0 GPA. Visited Michigan and then skipped a visit to Sparty.... telling....
His change in travel plans just confirms his GPA is legit.
This makes me happy, but regardless it doesn't matter because...
WHERE'S THE THREAT?!
this kid shows up on a college campus as a student.
According to 247 he's already had an unofficial visit to tsiO and his two top choices are still PSU and UM.
This is going to be news to the folks at 11Warriors. They include him in their rationalization that they didn't really need Anzalone or Smith or any of the other "lock" and "lean" LBs in 2013 that have blown them off because their 2014 LB class is looking so good. That's kind of like counting chickens before the chicken has even evolved into existence... not just before they hatch.
Wow I was just joking about this yesterday during a small workout with some of my football team mates. Haha this is indeed very awesome.
the Broadway Joe socks. Sign him up!
I think Dantonio's first mistake was not investing in a better driving service.
osu fans are now saying that this years class really isnt Meyers first class but the 2014 class should really be viewed as his first class. Oh and that class WILL be #1 in the nation.
Even though... Urban was given all of last fall/winter to recruit their class because the NCAA allowed them to have TWO coaches simultaneously and devote one solely to recruiting? Pfffft. OSU can go blow.
If next year will be Urban's first class, who's responsible for their 2012 class?
Terrelle Pryor, maybe?
