backpeddled on it a bit. The first time he brought it up he said flat out they were ineligible. Then he showed more of his ignorance by going off about how this hurts big time because he could probably play SAFETY right now, even though last I checked Turner will (hopefully) be playing corner for us.

It is possible that Turner will eventually see practice time at both positions. He is/was listed as a Safety by one of the recruiting services, I believe.

That wouldn't be surprising. High schools often put their most athletic DB at safety, since safeties are usually around the ball more often than CBs are.
