Blessed Be His Name
Alright, totally stolen from Matt of the "Mailbag!" post today from today.......sorry Matt.......thought this needed to be a forum. Great point.

Anyway, I thought we should put a list together of those that could be blessed with the moniker BBHN. Suggestions?

Hells yes. BBHN.
I guess Brian will be the final word on this? Or not, I'm sure he's busy what with it being his busy season and what not. I suppose this would have been a better topic in March. Howeva, it would be nice to have a final MGoBlog approved list.

That's the proper ending. It stands for "peace be upon him." As you all probably know, Muslims put it after Muhammad's name. For instance, "Man, that Muhammad pbuh really gives great stock advice, since he's, like, a prophet and all. Praise Allah!"
Another option is to use the suffix Shlitah. It's a Hebrew abbreviation that is usually used for names of great rabbis. I don't know what it means.
"Rabbi Rosenstein shlitah wrote a book on Maimonidean philosophical thought represented in the Knight Rider series, all while perfecting his golf swing."
I am sorry if I offended any Muslims or Jews in this post. I can at least assure you that this post is 100% pork-free.

Jake Long, Tyrone Wheatley and Anthony Carter would be my first ballot BBHNs among players.
Bo and Yost would be charter members.

Actually, when referencing Bob Ufer, it should always be followed with 'God Bless His Cotton Pickin' Maize and Blue Heart.' It was his signature line. Lets keep that alive!
Otherwise, I'm on board with all the others. I'd like to throw in Rob Renes. Best Nose Tackle I've seen pay at UM in my lifetime! Like Hutchinson, TFL was his middle name.

From wikipedia..."Francis Powers who, upon witnessing him play for the Badgers against the Great Lakes Naval Station in 1942, wrote "His crazy legs were gyrating in six different directions, all at the same time; he looked like a demented duck."
BBHN...and his demented duck legs.
