Pharoah Brown Receives Visit from Mattison
I know it is just a message board post, but a 247 board has noted that Mattison recently visited Brown in his home.
I'm on board with this. I think we delivered a message by dropping him, but ultimately, kids make mistakes and everybody deserves a 2nd chance.

This is really simple. In any business transaction, it takes 2 parties. If both agree on the same terms, you have a deal. If you don't, there isn't one. In this case, if both parties agree that PB will attend M, then M agree to keep his spot. If PB isn't committed, M isn't either. Doesn't mean there can't be further discussions, it just means we're not there yet. When PB committed AND APPEARED TO BE HONORING that commitment, M did too. When PB made it clear he wasn't committed yet, M simply took the stance that accordingly, they weren't either. I don't get the impression there are hard feelings between the 2 parties, nor is the potential deal dead. They simply have both taken the stance that there's more to discuss first. Like many others here, I'd really like to see this work out and is still very possible.

I would like to have Pharaoh Brown back. The force is strong with him... and when I say that I mean his bench press is ridiculous

You know who doesn't want the Pharaoh to come back? The Jews.
And let me reinforce before some dummy inevitably takes it there, that is not an attempt to be racist- just historically accurate...

wondered HOW the coaches found out he went to Oregon. Do they read rivals, etc. just for this kind of information on their own recruits? Kind of interesting.

I'm guessing Alex Herron was keeping an eye on him.

about it. Not true?

When they did their in-school visit, he was rocking a teal and mustard yellow alternate Oregon uni with actual duck feathers embedded in the shoulder pads. And it was signed by Lebron and D Wade. They put 2 and 2 together at that point...

Rivals currently has PB listed as the No. 11 rated (4star) TE.

Can we stop referring to Pharaoh Brown as "PB?" There's only one true "PB" in this world, and it tastes really good with jelly, chocolate, bananas, celery, and lots of other things.

I also recommend cream cheese on celery.

You and my dog have so much in common. He really likes PB too.
What?

Wow! That was way too inappropriate for me to laugh as much as I did.
This (innocent) picture helped get some disgusting images out of my mind.

Anybody else having visions of Mattison and Pharoah at a luxurious party and then Mattison leans in and whispers "I know it was you Pharoah." No? Just me. Still, if I was Mr. Brown, I'd avoid any boating trips.

His 2010 film is impressive, but then I watched his 2011 film where he's featured more as a TE and less as a QB and man I was blown away. The kid has crazy talent. Unless his level of competition is weak I don't see how he can be rated so low.
December 15th, 2011 at 2:21 PM ^
The level of competition isn't very good, but he still looks like a really good player who could play at any level

I want him... He's got size and skill. We showed a message that This is Michigan and this is where you want to be. Check that we need him!
