Reeves usually projects as a safety.  He was very close to pulling the trigger for us...so if there is someone going to fail to make this class, something I have not heard, he would be a great addition.

This is kind of surprising. We've got Wilson, Clark and Gant coming in this year plus Thomas next year.

On top of that there is Countess, Avery, Floyd, Hollowell, Carter (I think He's still there), Taylor (I think he's still there), and Talbott (I think he's still there). Plus Richardson and Standifer also slated to come in.

Seems like and awful lot of DB/S on the roster as is...

I've been saying the same thing in regard to Yuri Wright, lot of corners on the roster.

That said if one of the incoming DBs is not going to make it, maybe there is room, could be an either or situtation with Wright and Reeves.

Also has there ever been any talk of Clark playing WR?  Seems like he has a better frame for WR than safety and we certainly could use some bodies there.

I agree on Clark. He is on the tall side for a safety and who's to say he's done growing. Gotta say, though, it's great to be talking about what we are going to do with all the DB talent we have instead of trying to figure out which true freshman we are going to be forced to put on the field.

Even if there aren't any spaces available at particular position groups, it makes sense to keep recruiting.  Funny things happen late in the recruiting process with decommitments and eligibility problems, and it's always good to have recruits who know you if you need to fill an opening.  Introducing yourself to a kid in January and then hoping that he'll commit to your school by February doesn't seem like a good strategy.
