As most of us know, former Wolverine and current Arizona Cardinal Steve Breaston is a creative individual, aside from being an exciting football player. He posted this Youtube video of his poem about the NFL Lockout.
Stevie Phantom, we care about your two cents.
Very cool poem. My favorite part is "or understand how ironic it is I've told a kid to play 60 but we might not even play a minute"
He deserves more youtube views than he has gotten so far.
I sure hope he's at his childhood home...he's a little old for a spiderman fathead on his door
but......but Spiderman is awesome?
Voltron T-Shirt and Thundercats pic must really be freaking you out...
(great find OP!)
We need football. Things might be getting a little emo.
only Brian has the right to be emo on Mgoblog?
but this is quality.
Speaking the truth:
"Losing sight of those packed in stadiums where temperatures are barely above zero. Or familys who are saving up from zero with thoughts of the perfect view from the nose bleeds."
... the Michigan Difference.
And I compare him to Terrelle Pryor.
And then I smile.
hugging ur cattz
Thundercats Ho!
Show me an OSU football player who writes poetry...
Was a man from Columbus..."
I'm not sure about poetry, but this is pretty special...

Big Katz rocks.
What has been seen cannot be unseen.
Oh NFL sometimes you're such big dicks
There is no rhyme of reason, you're just out there turning tricks
All you greedy bastards leaving the fans in the dark
I guess after church on sundays imma hang out in the park
With the Lions on the verge of playoff success
This just proves that the NFL needs the sweatervest.
Maybe you'll figure it out, Maybe all will end well
but if it doesn't this fan won't watch again, you can go to hell.
So yeah my shot at being a poet
Here is an ESPN story about the poem:
