From what I understand, Mattison is very familiar with zeking and once the defense has gotten the fundamentals, he will incorporate zeking into the LBers gameplan. Borges on the other hand has said ( I don't remember where it was qouted so forgive me) that Denard has enough to learn this offseason and zeking will not become part of his skillset. I guess, in short, the coaching staff agrees with you.

Denard Robinson hasn't shown a thing in Al Borges' offense. Devin Gardner hasn't done much, either.

I'm not so sure Michigan's QB situation is as settled as people want to dream it is. Pike would come in, and if good enough--he'd be in the running, especially if he is more of a fit for Borges' offense than the other two.

Well I for one am glad we are only giving DRob a few weeks of practice in a new scheme before saying he's shown nothing. Might as well cut him with all the other players who have not adjusted yet... the entire team.   /s

Well your point is technically true, but lackluster performance in the spring game doesn't spell lackluster performance for the entire season. Give the team another couple months to learn it before judging their talents in it.

As for our QB position, I'd say that Denard/Devin have the starting QB spot on lock for the next two years, minimum. If Pike came in, he absolutely wouldn't start next year, barring injury.

TomVH posted on twitter that he's heard two different things regarding Pike (I believe). This is probably why he has a weird feeling about the situation. As much as I'd love to have Pike, I'd be ok with picking up another qb like Bellomy to add depth and then get Morris next year. Two more years of DRob, then two with DG, then three with Morris. But if we pick up Pike then Morris will go elsewhere. I'd be happy with either of them.

His dad went to G. Tech. As much as I'd like to see him go Blue, I'm thinking it's Auburn.
<br>My first post... Thank you in advance for any well wishes.

My 5 year old Zeke is so excited for Wednesday.  I've said before he asks me out of the blue at least once a week of that other Zeke is going to Michigan.  Either he will be very happy on Wednesday or I get to use this as some sort of parental lesson.
