No me gusta 9:30 wake-up calls in Vegas. Boo, programming directors! Boo!
March 13th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
I'll be in Vegas as well. Leaving Tuesday.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:04 PM ^
Speaking of vegas, early line has us as 1 pt favorite.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:47 PM ^
Ill be in Vegas as well, but at 940 am I will be working, FML.
Well because I live here.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:49 PM ^
Leave GA at 430 on Friday so luckily enough I will be able to watch the game before I fly out. Almost wish I was leaving on Saturday now that we are in Charlotte. Hmmm wedding vs. 1st rd game in NC? Life gives us so many obstacles.

This makes me sad in pants.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^

March 13th, 2011 at 10:36 PM ^

March 13th, 2011 at 10:30 PM ^
Looks like I'll have to skip school on Friday :)
EDIT: Don't worry, it's just AV and Richard III in English. Love the play, but I love the Wolverines more.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
Well, looks like I found out what I'm doing during bio 173 lecture on Friday...
Anyone know if CBS will still host this online? If not I need to find a stream.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^

Every game streaming. Plus, an iPhone App.
March 14th, 2011 at 12:24 AM ^
I have a couple of friends who interned in DC with Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown. They said that during the tournament last year, the servers in the Senate actually crashed due to everyone streaming MMOD. I lol'd
March 13th, 2011 at 10:41 PM ^
From SI's Viewer's Guide to March Madness:
Can I watch the tournament at my office again?
Damn right. Just don't tell your boss. March Madness on Demand (MMOD) will provide live-streaming video of every game of the tournament, beginning with the First Four on March 15. The application will be hosted on SI.com and will be free to users across all platforms, including the full versions of the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch apps over Wi-Fi and 3G. (March Madness on Demand mobile applications are already available for free from the App Store.) Last year a record 8.3 million unique viewers watched or listened to the NCAA tournament on the MMOD application, including 575,000 users for the Duke-Butler final. "The majority of the world does not have a television set in their office," said Levy. "If you were going to customize and build an event for the web or for the new digital technology, you would construct the NCAA basketball tournament."
March 15th, 2011 at 12:27 AM ^
hahahahaha SAME!! gotta love bio lab lecture.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
This is why I don't take classes on Fridays. Okay other reasons, but this is quite convenient.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
March 13th, 2011 at 11:35 PM ^
Thanks Fat Mike... Now I know where it actually is, haha. HD too, how nice! DVR set.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:34 PM ^
CBS MMOD is still going to carry all the games. Which is great, because I've never heard of TruTV and a quick check at the cable tells me I don't have it.
March 14th, 2011 at 12:41 AM ^
If you have cable then you've got to have TruTV, I believe it is a standard cable channel in any package. Keep looking it's there somewhere.
March 14th, 2011 at 12:49 AM ^
Nope. Canadian. There is apparently a Canadian version of the channel but scoped that out and it wasn't what I was looking for.
Not a huge deal. It might be on TSN or TSN2 and if not, MMOD works fine.
Didn't know we were talking Canadian television. Good luck in your adventures finding the game homey.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:37 PM ^
I don't have cable but I get the online package every year, and it's free. I really love how the NCAA has made all the games available online at no cost at all. Now that they are moving so many games on cable, the online package is more important than previous years.
CBSSports tweeted all the broadcasters but I forgot who was calling the Michigan game.

Nantz and Kellogg. Not too bad.
March 14th, 2011 at 12:09 AM ^
disagree. nantz should stick to ... football? i guess. i just don't think he's very good at all.
March 14th, 2011 at 12:50 AM ^
Nantz should stick to....... Golf! That's really what suits his laid back style.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:40 PM ^
Crap. I'll be teaching then. Booooooo.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:41 PM ^
I'm bringing my laptop to my physics-lab on friday and the GSI can just damn-well enjoy the live stream.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:42 PM ^
I'll be teaching Friday. Looks like the tv will have to be on!
March 14th, 2011 at 12:03 AM ^
I'll be teaching as well. Does anyone know if the cbs stream requires a software download? If it does, that won't work on the school server.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:44 PM ^
Ugh, exam from 2:00-2:50. Well I better fill in the bubbles quickly and hope I can catch the end.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:51 PM ^
great, my biweekly research update meeting with advisor is this Friday at 1:30, right during the middle to end of the game...eff my life. I cannot wait to graduate. I hate my research project with a passion.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
My weekly research meeting is Friday's at 1:30 also. I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up and tell my professor that we're going to have to move it. He understands that hockey is important to me, but now I'll have to break it to him that I care about basketball a bit too. I will not miss this game.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:04 PM ^
My advisor got his PhD from Duke and while he isn't a big sports fan, he understands why I refuse to work during Michigan football games during the fall. A good advisor knows that you are a person, not just a work machine.
March 14th, 2011 at 12:20 AM ^
Mine is german...and he doesn't give two craps about sports. He only cares about getting data and publishing.
and thats why I am not going into research....i prefer to have a life outside of the lab.
March 13th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
This week is my spring week. Never-mind that we got 3+ inches of snow last night... spring break FTW!
March 13th, 2011 at 11:01 PM ^
I might have to call in sick on Friday.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:13 PM ^
Do we know if it'll be on local Ann Arbor radio yet? I assume it would have to be...
March 13th, 2011 at 11:13 PM ^
But I will be at school and won't be able to see it.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:15 PM ^
Just checked and yes I have trutv - don't think I've experienced it yet but sure will now.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:22 PM ^
I have a Biology lab at 2 on Friday. I hope my instructer is ok with me live streaming from my laptop.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:33 PM ^
Yeah, 1:40am Saturday morning in Korea - drunk and partying then watching UM play!
March 13th, 2011 at 11:33 PM ^
dammit exam at 1...
March 13th, 2011 at 11:36 PM ^
TruTV Is channel 246 for all you DirecTV subscribers.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:37 PM ^
72, 171, 247HD
March 13th, 2011 at 11:41 PM ^
Didn't CBS pay like a billion dollars to televise this thing? How can it not be on there?
March 13th, 2011 at 11:47 PM ^
CBS and Turner paid a combined billion kajillion dollars for this thing. Some games have to be on TruTV. For those with cable/satellite, its a channel you either have or will have in the next 24 hours. If you don't, well, it seems that your sports television experience will continue to decline over the next few years, as more and more is moved to cable.
March 13th, 2011 at 11:51 PM ^
I have the channel. I'm just surprised this isn't on CBS.
