I’m not sure what’s worse, the growing pains the team is going through this year or the number of “negative nelly’s” that are supposed to be fans.
I get that all of us expected this year to be a lot better, but there has been small improvements and the majority of the big games are in front of us.
If we can finish out the season with a win over OSU and MSU or ND, I’d consider it a good year, so long as the offense looks significantly better at the end of the season.
Yes, my expectations have dropped from the preseason, but that’s because I didn’t anticipate the new system to slow the team down this much. However, if the O is improved at the end of the year and we finish strong vs a nose dive, wouldn’t that’d still be a step in the right direction from last year.
So, let’s just support our team and see where we are at the end of the season, as there is no way the negativity helps the team in any way, shape or form.
I'd be fine with that too. I'm just not going to keep burning my eyes trying to read the full site on a phone and the official app is garbage. That tells me $ > than mobile users. So, fine, I'll go elsewhere. I'll miss the site, but I'll get over it.
I mean, does it really matter that for some of us, we only used MGoBlogHD? The official app is terrible and quite frankly....amateur. So, now we are faced with the following choices:
A. Use the crappy official app
B. Login to the non mobile friendly website
C. Get our Michigan news elsewhere
Sadly, I'm starting with C and I'll maybe eventually try A again if it gets upgraded significantly or I find that the other sites don't get me sufficient info, but with both MGoBlog options being rather mobile unfriendly, I'm not real motivated to try A or B. Way to think it through guys! Maybe in the future, you could upgrade the official app first. Smh
If a team decides to take action because of a political issue, then the reporter can just state what they are doing. No need to add an opinion piece to it.
They can write about what they want, but I have to ask: Why would they want to? There really isn't any upside. Yes, you might get those who agree with you excited, but the opposite is true of those that don't agree. A sports writer built their audience through sports, why confuse it with politics and risk shrinking your reader base? Just doesn't make much sense to me.
I feel the same. Plenty of other places to talk politics. This is one of my escapes and a place where I can enjoy hanging with people that share things in common...like the love of Michigan and hate for OSU. :)
I prefer no politics, plain and simple. There are plenty of other places to discuss politics and in many regards sports is a healthy way to escape other aspects of life, including politics. When you introduce politics, all that is accomplished is the alienation of one group of people. I'd rather sports remain open to all.
Everyone seems to think Bama is his "safe" choice....but things in college football can change fast and it very well could start with a Clemson win.
With the rest of the class we have coming in and the incredible coaching staff we have...I feel pretty good no matter what Najee decides to do. It's a personal choice for him, but his brother was right when he tweeted that he could become a legend at Michigan. If you want to be famous, being a star at Michigan will get you that. Bama...not so much.
Agree. Too many people think they are deserving of a whole bunch of things without ever having to work for them and suing others is one means for them to try to get it. It's ludicrous tbh.
