Hoke was top notch at this aspect of his job.

These are without question the best road jersey's we've had.
It's amazing how complacent so many have gotten to the tweaks in uniform. When I was like 12 I remember the outcry about putting just the 'swoosh' on the jersey.
I pray we get away from the crap piping and out of the 'league of ordinary schools' that put the gimmicks and piping on their unfiroms.

Totally agreed. Cannot stand the "template" shorts we have. Large block M on shorts. Boom, there you go, you have the best shorts in basketball.

Hate this article. Even if it's suppose to be a "just kidding" type thing at the end.

Amen- especially on the road football uniforms. I actually write an annual letter to the athletic director (then Martin now Brandon) urging us to go back to the road uniforms being worn by A-train. No piping, block M on shoulders.

Brian is RIGHT on when it comes to his prognosis of Dave Brandon,....just as he was right on when it came to the hiring of Brady Hoke.

I went to lunch with Brandon this summer as part of a prize that my friends and I won with the business school.
He said that he knew that the 'maize' had changed and that they were working with Adidas to get it right. I'm fairly certain this was genuine as he is the one that brought up the subject of the color in response to our question about the impact of the Adidas deal.
Brandon just gets it, in general.

back in 1995. This looks like something out of the movie Any Given Sunday. I hate when team's get away from their traditional unis
|4 years 7 weeks ago||Road Unis||
Would love to see us go back to the 2004 road unis. Which reminds me-- it's time for my annual hand written letter urging us to go back to a more traditional road uniform. I can't stand the road uniforms now. We look like Toledo or West Virgina.
Out of the top 10 winningest programs, we're the only one that has "piping" and other gimmicky features to our road unis. Why would we not want to identify wtih the blue bloods of college football?

It all depends....
Average MACC is roughly 50 Points lower then MBA. For MBA, are you Female or minority? Then the GMAT minimum is different.That's not to be insensitive-- just a reality.
For full time MBA white males, the lowest ive heard is 650. That person is a bit older and has a ton of experience.
In terms of the amount of partying done, its true. It's unreal how much fun everyone is in the program. Plus, there are no grades--the connections you make are more important than any hour in the library. Its a ton of work, but ive loved every second of it. I won't apologize for partying.

Was a disaster, and I got in. One semester left. Best two years of my life. I'm really going to miss dating undergrads
|4 years 20 weeks ago||Big Ten disparity argument||
A lot of folks on this blog make the argument that Michigan fans need to be more realistic-- that this is no longer the "big 2 plus 8" days of BO. This argument implicitly states that we should not expect such similar success.

if someone doesn't want to come here, I wish them the best of luck. There's not a better place in the world.
Ps I just got done grinding my ass off at ricks.

"show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser".
While I'm not blaming any individual, i can't believe how apologetic michigan fans have become. sad.
|4 years 29 weeks ago||What kind of CEO are you talking about?||
How much would it cost to pay everyone off and start over?
-A CEO would look at future cash flows and determine if the investment (paying off a coach and hiring a new one) would increase future revenue via more winning.
Football would lose a year recruiting on top of what was lost the last time.
-RichRod had a top 10 recruiting class the year he came in. So did Brian Kelly this year.
The university would look indecisive (Notre Dame?)
-New CEO's replace managers with their people all the time. How is that indecisive? I think it's much easier to make the argument that floundering over the decision is indecisive.
And the next guy: What baggage will he bring with him (a cheerleader in his closet)? And will he win?
-No CEO makes a decision on unwarranted speculation or conjecture. We've sure got a lot of baggage right now, though.
Brandon has other resources to bring to bear on the defensive problem, as long as his Department Head is willing to work with him and them.
-So essentially, the CEO needs to micro manage his department head, who has mismanaged 1/2 of his operation to the point of national embarassment.
