I was born and raised in Ann I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, graduated from an Ann Arbor high school (First class out of skyline FWIW) with a 3.9+, got into Michigan, and decided that instead of going to the school I'd dreamed of going to literally since I was old enough to say "Go Blue", I would chase my pipe-dream of playing baseball at the highest level by going to a small school with higher academic ratings than most Ivy League schools. I have loved Michigan with every fiber of my being since I was able to walk, and somehow, I find this insulting. Out of the 100k+ that fill the big house every fall Saturday, I have been a part of that at least a few times a year every year since 1999. I always hoped that fellow die hard Michigan fans would be accepting of those that couldn't/didn't/chose not to attend the greatest public university in the country, but it is always disappointing to see posts like this on a blog I've been reading for the last 8 years. Go Blue.
