It was all around pretty good this year, my wife and I have been going since 04. Dana Jacobsen was the MC and she did a good job. It was the best performance I've ever seen the football team put on. Will Hagerup brought the guitar skills, Jack Kennedy added the flow and Taylor Lewan was absolutely hilarious. Oh and Denard and Roundtree were involved as well. They performed with the women's volleyball team. Track and field won on a pretty good number. Our new soccer coach also showed off his awesotoo rapping skills too. I thought the hockey team was good but not up to their usual standard of hilarity, but I don't know if anything will ever beat Milan Gajic and the team doing Riverdance for me. And the soccer team misses Cam Camerons insane dancing skills...if anyone gets the opportunity I highly recommend it. It's good for a lot of laughs and all the money goes to charity. |
| 26 weeks 2 days ago | I have been just as whimsical |
I have been just as whimsical of late thinking back to '08 Northwestern and all the progress made and how much we owe to the seniors on this years team. I haven't seen this posted anywhere and don't have enough points to post myself but if there's ever a stat that strikes me going into this game it's this: 3-9 5-7 7-6 9-2 = 24-24 We all already know they are champions for reasons other Michigan Men can't comprehend, but Saturday they get a chance to, after all the crap, be sent off as winners. |

I have a bottle of Bo Merlot that has been sitting in my wine rack suffering neglect from the same pledge. Here's to blowing the dust off and cracking that baby open on Saturday... |

In '95 I was 11 and that was when I started going and watching the games for the football rather than the novelties, and can honestly say Mercury Hayes in the corner started it for me. I've missed 5 home games since. That being said '97 PSU. That was one hell of a team and we never even let them make it a game. My dad has been going to games since 1968 and still maintains that was the best he has ever seen a Michigan team play. |

+1 for Maizey for a girl, that's what we named ours. It was going to be Bo if we adopted a boy dog. |

Reporter: I’m told you’re not the first Michigan coach from West Virginia. |

Played in the group in front of Lloyd at the alumni golf course after hitting balls on the range next to him. My girlfriend from senior year takes the cake, though. She was an RA in Stockwell, and one of her residents was one of Don Canham's granddaughters. So for Christmas that year she bought me a copy of Tradition and asked her resident if she could get it signed. She said sure, and dropped it off for her. Two days later my wife got a call and was told it was ready to be picked up. So she walks down to Schembechler Hall and eventually to Bo's longtime secretary's desk right outside his office, and is told that it's not signed yet. So the secretary, gets up knock's on his office door and tells him the lady's here and he needs to sign this book. So he says "Well have her come in here and I'll sign it." So my girlfriend walked into his office. He was sitting behind his desk, asked her if she was doing well in school, and who the lucky guy was, signed it and gave it back. Needless to say I proposed to this girl 6 months later and we've been married for the last two years! |
