Enrollment in youth soccer is outpacing youth football exponentially. On one hand, this bothers me, on the other as a father, my kids aren't playing football and I am good with that.
I still can't believe Harbaugh is really our coach. Went to the spring game, saw him, and it was like a celebrity guest coach. Won't believe it for real until probably half time at the Utah game.
That said, Harbaugh will have the most wins of the three this year.

I would take this maize every day compared to the various highlighter crap yellow we have seen over the last decade. The real deal has a little more orange hue to it though.
I really don't think the lack of quality play during the first 54 minutes had anything to do with not "getting" this rivalry. Sometimes its just not your day, and that was the case here with the offense. Rewatched with great pain the entire game today, and I really don't think the defense was as bad as I first remembered. A few missed tackles, but they were simply left out there too long by the O.
I have good feelings for this week. They can shed the first road game experience and the added pressure of a rivalry won't be there.
Iowa is ripe for an exposing.
