I began snowboarding in my early 40's too (6' 170/lbs). But I was an expert skier and I even raced NCSA in college. I did it because my girlfriend at the time snowboarded and sometimes I was bored with skiing. To begin with it's completely different from skiing. If you don't have a friend to teach you, a private or semi-private lesson or two will be beneficial. Too much standing around with a group lesson. I wasn't sore at all when I was learning but I was sweating the whole time and I was tired after 1/2 day so after lunch I would ski for the rest of the day. Be careful, because when you fall, you typically fall forward and you put your hand out to stop you. Broken wrists are common in snowboarding. After I learned to snowboard I realized I like skiing so much better...
It is the easy choice and I don't think anyone will agree with me but promoting Moore to coach isn't a good idea. He has absolutely no head coach experience (Harbaugh was the head coach when he was suspended) and he is expected to coach one of the premier teams in College football. I thought Kalen DeBoer would be the perfect coach for Michigan. Let me add. I hope I'm wrong for thinking this way and Sherrone will turn out to be a great coach...
I think that Alabama will talk to Sarkisian first but I don't think he will leave Texas. If Harbaugh leaves I would go after DeBoer. I like Moore/Minter but they don't have head coaching experience and I like DeBoer better anyways. I am assuming Harbaugh will take Minter with him...

I also think this is the only logical way to leave the B1G. Form an ACC conference with Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida State, Clemson as the big dogs in ACC football. Basketball would even be better than the B1G. It wouldn't destroy the B1G with the Pac-12 teams joining but it would lessen the travel to the west coast. The ACC is all EST vs. the B1G of EST/CST/MST/PST.

They all invited me to join them but I was tired and I wasn't dressed properly for a club.
