People keep bringing up his hard ridgid side and how Harbaugh rubs people wrong. It's played out. Saban is a pretty no non-sense coach and it seems like he has been at Bama for ever! I think it is an anti-Michigan agenda by much of the media. People hate Meeechigan and don't want to see them succeed.
But, alas, lets enjoy the hire and the immediate fruits to be had!!!!!!
No one is predicting that Michigan will beat sparty or osu. I don't know much about the division San Diego was in during Harbaugh's tenure but he won 7 games the first year and up each of the next 2 seasons. I am sure there was an upset in there somewhere.
His first year at Stanford resulted in beating #1 ranked USC when Stanford went 4-7.
A harbaugh lead team will beat either sparty or osu. Both would be nice but one is going down!
Worst radio show ever. Van pelt the collegiate golfer had an ergance about his coverage knowledge of pro sports. I turned the radio station as soon as I heard his voice.
I can't help but think this kid might be a drama queen. As many times as he has switched his commitment and now he says UCLA and Michigan is "neck and neck". I'm sure he has an idea but he wants to keep the focus on himself and get more attention. His commitment(s) have gone from the East coast all the way to the West coast. I think if the European Football League was still operating he would probably commit to one of those teams overseas.
I'd probably be the same way but I have the luxury of living a dull uneventful life!
Cutcliff has done a nice job at Duke but so did Hoke at Ball St and San Diego State. If it is true that Cutcliff was offered then we should be worried!!!!!!!!!!! That would be significant sign that NO top tier coach is coming.
Kapernick isn't as good now that the polish has worn off. He has a rocket for an arm but accuracy is a big issue. Boldin is the only receiver that can correct accuracy issues. The others not make the catch if the ball isn't thrown perfectly (most of the time). Life long Niner fan here and when Harbaugh went with Kap I didn't have much faith in it. Freak of an athlete doesn't make you a good QB!
Having grown up in Ohio and loving Michigan my entire life I got a new perspective when I lived in AA for 5 years in late 90s early 2000s. Growing up I thought the Michigan/ohio game was the top but I feel now it is mich state then notre dame (personal but I feel accurately represents many Blue fans) THEN ohio.
I would rather see ohio when vs. Clemson than mich state win vs. Stanford. As bad as that seems "little brothers" should never win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
