He's a free agent. Any team can sign him. The Wings sign him but everyone else gets a crack first?? Dumb rule, not surprising coming from Bettman. I blame everything wrong with the NHL on Bettman, warranted or not. haha
For having "signature pics" of a girl that was fully clothed. You could see the outline of her huge bewbs and her nipples were cold but still got the hammer.
That and I was laughing at the main board moderators for censoring some threads.
With all the goalie injuries, and injuries in general, I like this signing. Based on last years stats he still has game and can help out, assuming Ozzie takes quite awhile recovering from the groin/hernia surgery.
I aske JC Shurburtt abotu Hakeem Flowers and he said the last he knew GT and LSU were the leaders. Hurts because I've read that he was a Mich silent, allegedly.
Bryant really liked the Pitt visit from a couple twitter sources.
Frost was, supossedly, told they wouldn't take his committment. He was down the pecking order in their LB recruits.
Since he has most likely talked to the currently committed I would visit an uncommitted kid. Frost or Zettel would be my choice. Tough spot for Hoke. He is probably going to be living on 5 hour energy and MRE's for the next 3 weeks.
Maybe the Barners are getting full of themselves and wouldn't waste their time on a 50th ranker prospect, nationally.
Who cares? They are the idiots for not taking the kid. From all accounts he was one of the better defensive players during the practices at the all star game.
Asked him about Hakeem Flowers and if he knew where Flowers was leaning. He tweeted back that he hadn't talked to him recently but it was LSU and GT, last he knew.
Flowers was an alleged silent to Mich at one point.
Keep the guys we have and add Frost, Lucien, Zettel(supossedly solid to PSU), Frank Clark(glenville inroads), Bryant and Ramon Taylor. Like I said wishlist.
That's a rumor being floated on scout. I'd heard Chuck Heaters name mentioned as a possibility but I saw an article earlier that he accepted a position at Temple.
I don't know for sure but I would think there would be some temporary document drawn up to name him to the position until the official contract can be signed. thought I heard Brandon say that the legal language takes some time to be put in written form.
If he were to call kids without the document he may be looked at as a booster or liason of the University which I'm sure the f'in NCAA has a rule on.
This kid wanted to be Blue but had to pick Auburn at the game because of all the chaos. Let him start out at WR, if that's what he wants. He did make a heck of an impression at LB in the all star practices.
From all I've read he's a good kid and good leader. Vocal, positive and a hard worker, something all great programs are built on.
Hoke, get all over Zettel like white on rice. With your DL expertise that kid can see the NFL at Michigan just as likely as at PSU.
Based on my readings Hoke was Brandon and Coleman's 1st choice all along. The rest was a dog and pony show to appease the masses looking for a big name hire. If, IF that is the truth then Brandon is playing politiican and causing more damage than good. Also making Hokes job even more difficult with recruiting decommits and possible transfers.
From all I've read Hoke is a coach. Loves coaching. So, it makes sense for him to be an overseer of all things but coaches love getting in there and teaching. I think he will be a manager but will get his hands dirty with a positional group. Just my opinion.
If it is Trgovac I see him as the D-coordinator with Hoke being an overseer of all things defensive. I haven't seen/read anything specific on position coaches, just coordinator postions right now.
Who knows if it is wishful thinking but I've heard his name mentioned more than a few times. Brandon has mentioned he was contacted by various pro coaches who would come back and bring Mich back to prominience. So, that adds some credibility, depending on how much you beleive Brandon says.
I think he picked Penn st because they put a lot of D-line guys in the NFL. With Hoke being a D-line coach he could see that as beneficial and stay close to home.
I've read on various sites that at one time there were 4 silent commits to Michigan. I've learned that Frost was one. Could someone enlighten a newbie (you say howdy, I say hi) as to who the other 3 possibly were?

I don't spend all day reading all the threads.
Had no clue he was out.
Don't need the BS for sharing info. I see the info other places and bring it here because I thought it might be of interest to someone. That's all.
Take it easy.
Won't post anymore.
.
Antonio Poole LB from Ohio.
At least a 20year old Ice Cube reference. haha The Predator and Lethal Injection are 2 bad ass CD's.

Just dumb so no more rivals.
it was a bad knee bruise from a shot. I've read that he has been skating and practicing so a return should be soon.

If the coaching staff needs someone to chloroform the crap out of someone and forge a signature or two.........
just kidding
Thanks for all the info.
Flowers, Bryant, Taylor, Clark and Frost. I don't know why on Frost just think he goes Blue.
(shrugs)
You don't go to every game since your birth and not give the school a chance, when all the coaching drama has subsided.
I still think "what if" with some of these recruits had Hoke been hired 6 weeks earlier. Like a lot of folks, I assume.
Appreciate ya looking at the game. It's flat out amazing how many rules and stuff these kids are subjected to.
Every time a question came up I thought.....it's a trap, say no and run home.
I said no to everything....think I might have even tased a lawyer/agent or two.
So I can post a game to play. It's about being a high school recruit and seeing if you can stay eligible/amateur.
Gotta love the kid swung by Michigan on his way back from a visit, then stayed in town for the night.
Hope he's Blue.
Shurburtt said he needed to get back in touch with him but that was the last he knew.

But for how long?? 3 weeks instead of the 12 days he was at Michigan??
Maybe the Barners are getting full of themselves and wouldn't waste their time on a 50th ranker prospect, nationally.

Sick'em hoke!! Sick'em!!
Step 1:collect panties
Step 2:???
Step 3:profit
The Hulkster can't do anything without the do-rag and shades.
"That's just how I roll, brother!!!"

There aren't 25 5 stars, but I like the way you think. World domination!!!

Forgot Hakeem Flowers. Was a silent, allegedly.
His last set of grades helped the overall situation but it was still cloudy.
Shorter throws and moving the pocket to take advantage of him on the edge.

Either way early 20's in January. Still enough time.

I know this doesn't pertain to your thread but some info I just saw and may be of interest to Blue fans. http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_college_uf/2011/01/report-former-florida-assistant-chuck-heater-to-join-steve-addazio-at-temple.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
I don't have enough points to start threads but wanted to share the info.
LSU must like the way that the NHL structures contracts. 7years X corndog= he will 862 years old when the contract expires.

I'm not much of a film guy but the kid seems to love hitting people. Bring him in, coach and strengthen him up and let him wreak havoc.
Loves Michigan and is still committed but checking other options in case his ship is revoked. I think he stays, think.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_TrgovacThis is the name I am reading/hearing the most.
I think he picked Penn st because they put a lot of D-line guys in the NFL. With Hoke being a D-line coach he could see that as beneficial and stay close to home.
I had read/inferred that Prince Holloway might have been one also. Either way appreciate the info.
