I think if there's a set back, it will be very brief. Getting killed by OSU will likely hurt recruiting in the short term, but it'll look good when a decent number of Michigan players get their name called in the early rounds of the draft this year. Looks like Harbaugh has the program in position to have that be the case every year now, and that should stick out to recruits.
Harbaugh's approach to things like this have to help recruiting. Yes, Michigan has the name, resources, academics, etc., but if you're a parent, how could you not want your son to be in a program playing for a guy like this?
OSU and ND killed us with the pass in very different ways. If a couple of jump balls go differently at ND, that's a different game, but it's not like guys were running wide open all game the way they were at OSU.
Kiper has them both rated highly enough that it would probably be in their best interest to leave. Things could always change, but if they're both Day 2 picks, they should go.
Great setup for Denard to get another shot at QB instead of the "OW" he was trying to brand himself as for the NFL. Would be fun to see him take some snaps again.
