...I can't remember what it was called when it was a Michigan bar (I *think* it had a different name then - circa '98-00); it's the place on N Clybourn b/w Cortland & Magnolia.
I don't think it would be considered copying OSU (b/c let's face it, it's not like it'll happen), but more importantly, OSU isn't the only school who says something after kickoff, e.g., ND yells "Irish." I'm sure a bunch of schools do something similar; I just always thought it was odd that we didn't.
nowhere around here; we usually have to truck it in ourselves. I'm not kidding you when I say that when returning from a visit to PA, the entire trunk of our car is filled with cases of the stuff. If God forbid we ever got rear-ended, we'd be swimming in Yuengling.
FTW!
When visiting my inlaws, we bring it back by the car full. If no Yuengling, I usually have to have a little Cap't. in me:
Cap't + diet + lime = happy girl.
on TV from this year to last year. Obviously it's a different team, but the climate just looked different - EVERYONE seemed to be up, yelling, having a good time (not just the students like usual). I'll tell you though, the loudest thing that registered on TV was the "Rich Rod-ri-guez" cheer. You could tell he was trying not to smile...
...with the comments that re: Craig James. When he called the whole thing a "witch hunt," I thought ZING! No one buys these allegations; no one believes they're worth their weight.
I did see that part of JoePa's presser on the BTN this morning. I liked how he said "they BETTER be practicing in the off-season" *pause* "I mean, on their own. Voluntarily. Of course."
Everyone chuckled.
We always knew his size would be a hindrance; tough break. I hope someone takes a chance somewhere and really sees what he can do. Let's face it - there have been a lot worse cases out there where NFL teams have "taken a chance..." much to everyone else's chagrin. At least Hart's a solid guy and a good teammate.
after I saw his dad's statement posted here this week; seemed like a great kid, from a great family. But damn, there was no extra support necessary - this kid got.it.done. I'm excited to see how he progresses both throughout the season, and his career here at UM.
of a tight end offense. From the down field blocking, the ability to catch a pass in the middle, to THIS one handed grab? Outstanding. I hope we see some more stellar TE play this season.
To cooler 517 and EZMikeP...thanks for taking the time to make such a statement. As a UM alum that couldn't get back to A2 for the game, it did my heart good to see such great fans in the stands. Well done.
