I'm going to enjoy each game for once... Let's see if we can get better on the road. Can we and Rudock get better against Maryland? Then we play a decent opponent at home. Then we get a big test at home against a team thats won a lot recently. Sounds like fun, let's enjoy it.
If we get better, wins will take care of themselves.
But it will all depend on Harbaughs ability to develop a QB. Just like Hoke had the ability, if a QB had played well, to save his job. If Harbaugh can develop a QB and get him to be serviceable to start, and maybe to become a playmaker by MSU/OSU games, this team can do a lot of great things next season.
Why is everyone making MSU out to be this unstoppable team? Early loss to ND and OL troubles and everyone jumps ship, the boys stick in there and finish as a good team. 10-2 with losses to ND, Ohio. Everyone get over MSU...3-4 losses this year (including bowl game).
Three of MSU's "national championships" are claimed when their team was ranked 3 and 4. Their coaches wiki page does not even list them because they are so ridiculous. Teams seem to do this more and more.
We should claim the two years for Bo and say he won those as national championships.
MSU and OSU are going to be legit and a pain to play in the near future. With their coaches in place, they will be solid on poor talent years and really good on good talent years. Get over it, it won't dramatically change now that we've become competent.
Izzo is a great coach and a great recruiter. He may have a down year next year but I bet they overachieve and they will be a bitch to play.
Do people really think hes going early? I would be shocked if he left after this year. Hes a projected second rounder and does not look NBA ready. Sure, he's playing good ball but I wouldn't be surprised if he's still a four year player.
I want to see a tough Michigan team every game. We can complain about our road wins but 2-0 in big ten is huge! Being one of the five youngest teams in NCAA and winning on the road.. never a bad thing. The football team needs this kind of guts
I'm not anti-Gardner, but no one on offense deserves to be given a job after last year. I think he can be great, but I also think lighting a fire under him with competition will benefit everyone. He can and should step up to the plate.
My goodness, can this talk get more pathetic? I enjoy reading many conversations here but this is getting stupid. We're posting updates on other assistant coaches and hope they get hired somewhere else?
Does everyone really think Pat Narduzzi is our worst problem? We were feeble this year with dysfunction at multiple positions. Our problem is ourselves and that's where we need to focus. Everyone chill out and see what Hoke and staff are able to do. We have to get better and it has nothing to do with other teams.
Otherwise you become like state fan and obsess about crap like this and spend more time rooting against others than rooting for your own team.
