And no to RVB. Not in the same league with the rest of the selections. Not even close. |

Hadn't seen the Shaw play until I just watched the embed. Goalie seemed to dive big time there. I get trying to protect defenseless goalies, but he was out of the net making a play on the puck. Shaw didn't check the guy, but didn't exactly avoid contact either, so I'm ok with a penalty. But 3 game suspension? Wierd. |

I'd set the over/under on a picture containing the twosie, Lloyd Brady, Facepalm guy, and Brian eating a pretzel at 10 submissions. |

The blackberry app is apparently only available in Canada! LOLBlackberry. |

Zetterberg was ok after the Weber hit. Alfredsson was not. Shanahan was quoted today as saying that they look at the harm done in assessing the fine/suspensions. Sucks b/c the intent to harm seems to have been more with Weber than with Hagelin.
OT question for your hockey folk - do you have any suggestions for Web sites to check hockey scores on Blackberries? I routinely use ESPN b/c it is fast and current, but I cannot stomach that ESPN puts crappy regular season NBA games on its front page over NHL playoff games. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tnx. |

I didn't get season tickets my senior year ('98-99) b/c we played NO ONE* that year at Crisler and the athletic department, for the first time, charged full price for tickets to the exhibition games (hello Athletes in Action!). We were still in the glow of the Fab 5 and I think that AD effectively said: "F it, they will come and pay MORE, even for sh*t games". Well, as evidenced by the bare gold sections over the years, we didn't pay for crap. Glad to see that the team is one that makes you willing to at least accept a full price exhibition game, and that the AD is scheduling meaningful home games again. Go Blue!
*I'm really talking about non-conference. We basically played Wagner after Wagner after Wagner. I couldn't justify with my meager college dollars paying full price for 15 crap games (including exhibition games!) to get 5 decent/good games. |

between Fab 5ers and Taylor/Traylor/Bullock et al., and not just talent, but as representatives of the school. Not sure it is fair to say that the Fab 5 was responsible for that crew. Despite their warts, the Fab 5 were/are Titans and I, as an alum, am overall proud of them and will defend them. The Taylor/Traylor/Bullock era, er, um, pass. |
