I hate both teams but Sparty fans are just a collection of ignorant tools. There are plenty of Buckeyes the same but I respect their tradition of excellence. Dantonio's constant foot stomping tantrums about not being respected is symbolic of them as a whole. Go Ohio

You do realize that Penn State just hired two, I say again, two, highly respected coaches after the chaos that JoPa left, right? I had this very conversation with the Sparty"friends". I challenge you to take any like position where adding girth is key to success in college and compare the increase in size of Sparties to Wolverines over the last four years. Their D backs are the size of Bolden and Ross.

This is entertainment. The quality of which sucks. If a crappy band is playing in a bar on a Tuesday night, will anyone know it? I am weary of the "Go support the kids" stump. These men are not performing just like the coaches.
Michigan is not the product people want to watch. That is a big factor. Loyalty after seven long and below average years has to take its toll. We will miss the bowl season twice in five/six years. The players have a part in that.

Along the same line of thinking I have. Michigan is a desirable locale for good coaches up against some real steep obstacles. Money, prestige, history, etc. Patterson might be the poster child for that type of obstacle. He has impressed me with his ability to compete in the Big 12.
Michigan Man is the tradition for U of M.
The style of play Hoke endears himself to is not the issue with this team. Any sensible fan would likely be happy with successful manball. If Harbaugh came here and brought his Stanford type teams with him, we would all be loving us some manball from a Michigan Man.

Whenever I see that image on your avatar (a co-worker has it as a screen saver) I cannot help but think of Mr. Taylor Lewan. I have been to many UM vs. OSU games in AA. I do not have enough appendages to count the number of guys that should have been wrecked by someone because of their behavior. I wish Taylor did it when he was in the pros. No one cares how you treat people there.

I would think a little context would be sensible. What is the overall average record of the last ten years of bottom ten tempo teams. If that equates to a losing record, we have something to discuss. If not, then this has the feel of a reach to complain about the coaches.
Sparties have collected pictures of less than desirable looking people wearing Michigan gear. The Sparties I hear from use this as a justification for their comments. As I said in another post, ignorant, each and every one of them. I have learned to despise them more than Buckeyes. I really never would have thought that was possible.
Learned from my dad that Bo was the greatest man on Saturday afternoons. I never attended Michigan since my 27 ACT and 3.5 GPA wouldn't get me in in 1989. I settled on WMU. I work in the education field where Sparties are mass produced. Ignorant assholes, each and every one of them. I get the same question from those morons, "You go to Michigan?" I say seven or eight games a year. Piss ants.

There is not a draw to coach at Michigan right now. We will not get a big name. Are you willing to bet on an unproven at the top tier D1 level? That is all to be hoped for now.
I heard a rumor that Morris was taking a lot of snaps with the firsts this week. The conversation was one where he was going to get more playing time. If your rumor is true, that makes more sense.
Good riddance is an immature response. Our fan base has a growing tendency to whine and react to negativity more than ever. The fan base's character is flawed. It is represented by the reactions of our fans toward these kids and about these kids. Our true character is measured by how we handle adversity. For most of us, the last decade has been as adverse as we have faced in our lifetimes. Handle it better, please.
Please don't! If there is a chance to change the direction of this program, and if losing and mediocrity continues, that is one thing that will expedite the end....loss of revenue. Seems it is what DB (hah, DB, ironic isn't it) cares most about.
Disagree. They are a year older and stronger but played worse. I would not underestimate the impact of losing Montgomery. Look at Oklahoma last night against the all powerful king of the SEC.
