I believe it leaked earlier this year that the Lions were going to play the Bills which could be a CBS game. Guess we will just have to wait a couple hours to figure it out.
Humphrey posted a picture on Twitter a few minutes ago from inside Eastern Michigan's stadium so I'd say its safe to say he is in the area for the AAU track meet.
Couldn't students hypothetically just skip over the so called "5,000 person line" by going to another gate to enter 5 minutes before the gates open? In the past I have entered as a student through the SW gate near Pioneer. It will be interesting to see if the athletic department took this into consideration and will only allow students to enter at the NE gate to keep it fair.
I thought the exact same thing as this was happening. I mean why don't you just have hagerup boot it really high to around the 5 and hope for the best? If the hangtime on the punt was 4.5 seconds, at least one of the players could dodge a block and at least make it 40 yards downfield to get near the returner by the time he catches it.
When I was at Kinnick last year they showed Hemingway's reviewed "catch" in the endzone about 10 times on the scoreboards so I don't think your first point is completely right.
Wow. I was expecting a hype video made up of the typical mashup of clips from espn3.com, but boy was I wrong! That looked like some professional level stuff man. Great job!
There is an easy solution to this problem: General Admission Student Tickets
And no this doesn't cut into pre-game drinking time, just moves it up. When I went to the Iowa vs Michigan game last year the student section, which is general admission, was packed way before the game started. Frat stars will just have to wake up at 7 instead of 8 if they want to drink heavily and still get a good seat.
Also, the atmosphere in student sections that are first come first serve are way better. All of the early entrees will have fellow diehard fans to go nuts with and all of the drunk kids can be puking with their buddies in row 90.
I recall hearing a Michigan student in front of one of the houses on the corner of State & Hoover yell "Wow! You're a ginger and an ohio state fan?! God must hate you!" to some poor redheaded 15 year old with his dad.
I thought it was kind of funny actually. At least there wasn't any physical hazing involved
In the article it talks about how players don't want to use anything like vaporizers or bongs because it leaves evidence. So instead most players smoke the pot out of joints, which I'm pretty sure have some detrimental effects on the lungs.
Isn't it possible that he is just going home for easter and is taking some of his clothes with him so he doesn't have to make an extra trip at the end of the year? There are only 2 weeks left of school, its not like he needs a lot of stuff.
Anybody have any insight on the alumni flag football game? Is it fun to watch? I saw that Desmond Howard and Lamarr Woodley coached a couple years ago so it seems kind of interesting to me.
If the maize rage had more lower level seating I think they would be way better. Schools with good student sections like MSU, Gonzaga, and Duke have the majority of lower seats. The maize rage only has like 5 rows on one side and the rest are stuck behind the basket or in the upper bowl.
I road tripped to the game in Iowa City this year. Those kids party kinda hard friday night and then wake up before the sun is up and go crazy before the game. I was pretty impressed.

Our helmets say Michigan on the white clamp on the front, not Schutt like in the picture. Definitely an old pic
To have the top shooter in America in Beilein's style of offense would be crazy.
Picked up my Maize Rage shirt the other day and there is nothing on the back of it.

I think the rain hitting the empty bleachers during the Illinois game was still louder than the alumni.
Donnal & Irvin signed today. I believe Derrick Walton is waiting to sign at an assembly at his school on Friday.
Michigan is a swing state, Romney wants to cut PBS, and then they put on a documentary on wolverines. Coincidence? I don't think so Obama.

Wow even Moises Alou would think that guy has a strange fetish with piss.

If Shane Morris is a Glee fan, then it is fine for men to be Glee fans
I was too busy being happy that I wasn't hearing In the Big House to be concerned with the scoreboard

They came around August 15th last year so I would guess some time around there

Too bad all four of those USC quarterbacks combined are still 3 rings behind Tom Brady
Smotrycz always looked half stoned this year so he would fit in well in boulder
Creepin pretty hard here but i'm 99% sure his girlfriend that he was with goes to Butler, so maybe he was only there to visit here.
He probably just came down with a case of senioritis

I guess this means we can't sing Deep in the Heart of Texas anymore.
