Just like they did with the Seahawks.
|3 days 5 hours ago||They're turning into the Seahawks of MLB||
Media darlings after a successful postseason run. And absolute assholes the next season.
|3 days 14 hours ago||I've been in all of the stadiums I mentioned||
You can tell the difference. And science plays a major role. We don't have the rowdiest fans, but we get our yell on pretty good.
|3 days 14 hours ago||UCLA-Arizona||
Will probably be primetime on Fox. And it will be the highest profile of all the games. BYU and Michigan will probably be unranked while UCLA and Arizona will probably be Top-15 teams. Michigan has the name and alumni to turn on TV sets, but I don't know if it's worth pissing off the alumni who do not like night games.

He wants to be a closer and Soria was a better option even before this injury IMO. It would have been hard for him to adjust to a 7th inning or 8th inning job.
Plus, once he threw Castellanos under the bus after He gave up a walk-off HR and blew off the fans, I was done with him.
|3 days 16 hours ago||So how are they going to survive?||
They are laying people off now and preparing to lay more people off. They are outsourcing what can be outsourced.
This is not just faculty that are impacted. Support and other professional staff are also impacted.
|3 days 16 hours ago||This is not a stunt||
There are real concerns within their state educational system. I have an aunt who is facing the probably of losing her job due to many financial cuts to the educational system over the past 4+ years. Her and her employees will have their work turned over to a private company in a cost cutting move. I can speak to whether all of these moves are good or not, but there is real smoke to this situation.

You must turn off football games at the two-minute warning or don't want teams that run hurry up offenses.

If you want to look somewhere for toughness in American men, look at the armed forces. Coal miners and other blue collar jobs also fit. I respect the place sports has in society, and JH's role in it, but no wars or freedoms were won at the Super Bowl.

The reason OSU, Wisc, MSU have louder stadiums are based in architecture and physics. They all have upper decks, so the sound from the lower deck comes back down to the playing field. Pre-renovations, all of our sound would up and out. I haven't been in the stadium in some years, so I hope the renovations have truly kept more of the sound in the stadium.

I don't think Jameis wanted those.

Thankfully not crabs
|4 days 12 hours ago||His quote||
He's trying to say that he came to college with the purpose of getting better as opposed to just doing the college thing because he had to.

Don't like that front office. Trading away James Harden instead of going for one more shot at a title was a bad miscalculation. They will either have to let Durant or Westbrook go, or risk paying for two max contracts and little space to bring in anyone else. Whoever takes this job is assuming a lot of risk when it comes time to sign those two guys.
If Donovan was smart, he'll wait for Calipari to leave UK and replace him.
|5 days 21 hours ago||I think only two people wanted Harbaugh gone||
York and Baalke...Well also the rest of the NFC West. Unless you won the Super Bowl in the last four years, you would take the last four seasons of Niner football.
|5 days 21 hours ago||As a previous poster said...||
...Boone helped Harbaugh land the coach at his high school alma mater. He said he'd wish him luck except against OSU. I'll take those actions and words in his hometown Ohio newspaper over words for an HBO documentary that may or may not have been said to draw interest in the show. Besides, I'm sure some players for Bo and JH probably wanted to kick their butts.
Now OSU fans probably want to watch the program, even if it's just for that one part. Well played HBO.

...for those trips to East Lansing and Columbus.
|6 days 15 hours ago||Columbus is the largest city in Ohio||
We're talking more people than Cleveland and Cincinatti combined. So they already have a built-in advantage of almost 800,000 people within the city limits. Makes it a bit easier to pack the stadium.
|1 week 9 hours ago||He does now||
Plus Detroit is less than an hour away. Once August hits, this will all change. All the JH sightings will be in Ann Arbor from August until the season is over.

...I was fully expecting that to be a spelling error. I'm sure I'll find it served on one of Gordon Ramsay's UK shows.

I had a guy (Buckeye fan) come over to me (in my Michigan fleece) and asked me if I wanted to skullf@ck his 85 year old mother. I don't know how serious he was, but granny definitely looked over with her glass eye like she was game. I am still haunted by that night.

Michigan fan started barking at OSU fans Friday night and started up again in the last minute of OT when it was apparent we were going to win. Bucknuts weren't going down without a fight (at least in the stands). Michigan fan was not good at math (might be why he was an EKU student) as he was one guy talking smack by himself to about five OSU guys. Fortunately, enough people stepped in and I was able to resume tasting Buckeye tears.

Allows plenty of space for advertisements. Put nothing past the Association.

Normally this makes him perfect for the Lions but even they aren't talking about a WR in the first round. Hell, now I'm worried this is one of their patented "smoke screens".
|1 week 2 days ago||Pretty sure he doesn't play above the rim||
It's one thing to be tall. It's another thing to be able to elevate above the rim and make plays up there. Playing above the rim means being able to jump up there and grab rebounds well above the rim, go for alley-oops, elevate above everybody else. His height is nice, but if he can't block out, smaller, more athletic guys will be able to get up and snag those rebounds.

I get Levert for Jaylen Brown. I can even buy Levert for the new recruit Williams. But Levert for a fifth year senior who was good by comparison to the other big men we had? Nah man. If Levert leaves, Max gets that schollie after all the other kids turn us down.
|1 week 3 days ago||Did it to my school in the Friendship Classic in 1994||
I think they beat us by 40 points that day. It was embarrassing watching the highlights on TV. Alley-oop after alley-oop. They even had a sub 5-10 guy dunking on us with ease.

Then again, they don't have a superior instate rival that makes them feel angry and inferior. Plus their mascot lives in a pimped out natural habitat on campus. You don't want to disrupt Mike the Tiger's sleep.
