Just wanted to offer a slight correction: I'm guessing that "pining for the fields" is a reference to Monty Python's Dead Parrot Sketch - in which case, the quote should be "pining for the fijords," because the parrot in question is a "Norwegian Blue."
To clarify my earlier statement, while I do specifically tune in to hear Brian and Ace, I don't mind the other panelists. I also like having it on the Mgoblog feed for the sake of convenience. I use the Podkicker app for Android, and I like having all the content in the same feed.
I just finished grad school at UMN, so I can offer some advice for parking.
I'd suggest that you park on Saint Paul campus, and take the Campus Connector bus, which is free. I've marked a bus stop on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/9ANtgCfDiT12
You can probably find free parking on Como Ave, near that spot that I marked. The roads in Saint Paul campus are a little confusing, but it's probably your best bet if you want to park free and close. Pretty safe area too.
The bus ride is only 5 minutes max. I you get on at the stop I marked, you'll take the bus heading south from the stop on the west side of the UMN Transit Way, and get off at the next stop, which is TCF Bank Stadium.
Feel free to PM me if you have more questions, and enjoy the game!
I'd ask "With Jake Ryan's move to middle linebacker, where does that leave our pass rush, and will we have to count on the secondary to give the D-line more time?"
Instead of replying to the question posed in the title of this thread, I'm going to share this video of Jerry Kill dancing with his team after the Gophers beat Penn State this weekend.
At a time in which amusement is in short supply, I thought I'd pass this along since it may have been the most interesting thing to happen in Big Ten football last weekend:
Watching Vince grinding out one to two yards per carry was used as a metaphor for the grueling emotional experience of watching this game as a fan. Not that watching compares to the emotion on the field. I have enormous respect for all of the guys who didn't give up, especially Smith. I'm sure Ace does as well.
Most logical position I've heard stated thus far. While I would have loved to see Denard rip off some big runs, and I think his number should have been called a bit more early on, it seems clear the plan was to throw.

M wins. Florida jumps the shark. Or humps it, either way.
You rang?
Don't ask me how we get that score

Love the podcast by the way, keep it up!
I also use Podkicker, but I've got the free version (with ads), not the Pro one. I like it quite a lot, works well for MGoPodcast and WTKA.
17 - 15 Michigan
Our offense struggles but our defense gets it done...
With a couple of field goals and a safety.
41-9 M over H
Perhaps he's referring to A.J. Williams's spot as a primarily-blocking TE?
Just saw they put a new segment up today, hooray!

I liked listening to these segments on the Mgoblog feed last year. Bring it back!
Michigan wins 26-18

EDIT: #8 post beat me to the punch, guess I'll go with this then...
I've also been listening to this for far too long... so thanks? I think?

Angry gophers get a pair of field goals.

And here's the campus bus website with real-time tracking: http://www1.umn.edu/pts/bus/nextbus2.html

Mmm defense.
MD squeaks out a touchdown at the end to make it look close. We spend the next week convincing ourselves we're not worried about it.
Let's hope not, because that sounds like a heartbreaker.
39-6 Wolverines over the poorly-choosen-mascots.
Michigan 25, Oregon State 18
Utah 25 - UM 21
Let's hope I'm wrong.
Works fine for me using Podkicker on Android.
I mean, I'd take it but...
I think this is still not chosen somehow? Maybe because it would hurt. Let's hope not.
Meh.
19 - 17 Michigan, safety saves the day.
Auburn, Wisconsin, Washington, and Baylor...
Why not.
This is the question I like best so far.
