We need to move on to 2015. I feel that if this team plays a hell of a lot better next season and shows promise. Their is a lot of interest in these top players to go to Michigan. So goodbye McDowell it wasn't fun but good luck to wherever you may go.
Listen. Damien can do whatever he pleases. My god not all 5 star recruits come to a program and do great. Everyone tends to forget Mike Hart was a 3 star, and look what he did. Damien is a big time recruit who knows that and is playing the I want attention card. All we are doing is fueling the fire. If he doesn't come back to us then who gives a shit? There are plenty of other HBs in the 2015 class. Everything will be fine.
But for next year we still look young. But that's the whole point. This is why I get angry about all the negative shit towards Hoke and company. This will be his 4th year as a coach. He has recruited a ton of highly talented lineman and players. This team will be good they just need more experience. Also I believe I read a couple of times that Kugler was the most ready to play coming out of highschool so this team will be ready in the future and could be good next year.
I watched a quick interview with him and he said his parents always taught him academics first so I'm assuming that will play a big role on where he goes.
I agree with this. There is a reason canteen has like 7 offers compared to Scott who has the top 25 major schools after him. These camps don't prove really anything to me. But this is where we have to trust the coaching staff.
This isn't good news. This probably means we lost Williams, Scott and Westphal....great. But congrats to these two I hope they become big pieces to this team.
I doubt this because even though they said they aren't Ohio locks they probably are just saying that to keep the suspense and give us hope. If we do have an actual chance they have to get on campus. But I believe they are Ohio locks
How do you think the rest of our board is going to look like? By that I mean like Furbush, Westphal, Scott, McDowell...etc. I look on 247 sports daily and I feel like there aren't much more interest from other guys that I haven't read about. Any surprise guys?
I think he either realized he Clemson and the other choices weren't as good as Michigan and he is going to commit to us. Or he realized he wanted to go to Clemson. From what I read he loves Michigan and he wants to play with Cole and Campbell (in my opinion a Michigan lock). I think he chooses Michigan. Also on another note I also think we have a better shot with Jones then a lot of people give us credit for.
I did the same exact thing. Microsoft blew it on this one I also have pre ordered my ps4. Also Sony has better exclusive games then Microsoft so it's cool.
Isn't this a little like the Jordan Diamond situation? Where he was all Blue all the way up till almost signing day then he picked Auburn. From what I heard Malik loves us like Diamond did yet he also hasn't committed yet. Im a little worried about this.
This coaching staff is doing un real things. When rich rod was fired I actually didn't want Hoke. I didn't want him because I never heard of him. Man am I happy Hoke is here. I give this team 3 more years before they are a national contender
A better recruiter then Urb. I thought last year's class was great and this years class is absolutely blowing last years out of the water. If Hoke can keep this recruiting up. There is no doubt they will win a national championship in the next 3-5 years
What a long shot he is for us. Now I understand the hype, but that kid bounces from school to school. If for some divine reason he decides to come here it better be the day before or the day of signing day because if it's sooner that gives him enough time to voice to another school. I hope we get him though, after watching his film he is really fast and can tackle really well.
I'm so confused on why everyone says Hoke can't get the big time guys. Good lord look at the last two recruit classes all in the top 10. Plus a lot of freshman this year contributed. His recruit class is way better this year then the first and it's only continuing to grow. Lay off the dude, he is doing something special wait till his guys are all on the field.
The more kids that enroll early, the better chance we keep all these kids and they don't choose somewhere else, and has anyone heard news on Mathis,Treadwell and Green? I have heard nothing for weeks on these three
The recruiting that we are doing. Regardless that it was a leadership and good thing to do for the kids, but dont think for a second that there isn't a little recruiting aspect in that youth camp
Green has a huge frame, he's a big RB at the high school level as is one of those talents that could immediately get playing time or even start on a worse team. I take Green any day compared to smith, though smith is good green IMO is better
If we didn't need a DB then why were we looking at Fuller and McQuay? Apparently this coaching staff wanted another DB and they got a gritty,fast, and breakup machine with Douglass. This is a great pick up and were going to have one of the best pass defenses in the nation in 2 years
