The departure of O'Neil (who was diplomatic), Wermers (who put his foot in his mouth) and Boren, Ciurella (sp!) has less to do with "family atmosphere" and more to do with a different focus on lineman attributes. I didn't go back to look at the rankings for Rhocko Khoury the remaining linemen relative to Wermers or O'Neill (I think O'Neill was first lineman in the state if I recall) but I suspect that they fell behind the other guys on the depth chart, and realized that were unlikely to move ahead. If so, and writing on the wall for lack of p.t., with other more mobile linemen on the way in from recruiting, why continue to get beat up? I mean they can go to OSU, or BSU, or WMU and get back on the Boren pizza and milkshake plan, gain a bunch of fat and maybe even get drafted while not having to put up with insane competition and Barwis.

Brian Ellerbe or Tommy Amaker didn't offer up the same self critique as Contreras and send themselves to high school for awhile while they gained a command of coaching . . .
miss haloscan. Mgoboard(or bored-- depending on the day) is ok, from the perspective "Hey, I'm on the internet and need everything categrorized" type of way, but it certainly does lessen the sense of an interactive community -- at least to me. Others may prefer the directory appraoch used by Brian (and I assume that Brian has far greater control, and unique visitor stats this way, thus contributing to his financial well being -- and after all, this is a FREE site).

Not saying they couldn't have gotten him for a little less cash, but I'd rather have him signed, sealed, delivered and ready for rookie camp than screw around negotiating a contract for the next two month, or worse yet end up with a holdout.
I would choose Iowa b/c I've never been to Iowa City, and atmosphere of night game should be great. If it weren't a night game, then Wisconsin.
As for next year, with a 2nd year Tate or Denard, and a team which should be running the spread without hiccups, I'd go down south to Ohio.
without hesitation if you can deal with a couple of trade-offs compared to other phones. But by and large the interface and the thousands of apps make it a great phone. I've had mine,a 3G, for about a year, and no regrets.
Negatives:
No tactile keypad. If you do a lot of typing texts or email on the go, and you have clumsy fingers, make sure you try the phone before you buy it. It works fine for me, but some complain.
For some reason there is a delay in receipt of voice mail on my phone -- may be service carrier or phone. There are times when I know someone calls, and I don't get the voicemail until 10 minutes later.
Sound quality on the phone. Not as good as some others. I don't have a problem with it, I can hear the other end and they can hear me. You probably wouldn't be interested in this phone if it were only for telephone conversations, and the rest of the phone attributes outweighs whatever minor inconvenience this is.
Lock Ups. It can "lock up" once in a while, which I have found can be resolved by powering down, or in worst case scenario synching with your itunes. The first time it happened I was livid - since figuring out it's really not a big deal b/c it rarely happens (seems to happen only if there are a lot of emails not attended to, and even in that state, only rarely.
Positives:
There are too many too list, this is a phenomenal device. If you use an ipod now, you'll love this phone for music. Clock and alarm settings are very usable if you're without an alarm clock on the road. Email is easy and reliable if you can dig the keyboard. Calendaring effective and easy.
Video is awesome.
Surfing web is easy and the interface for this teriffic -- if you don't have 3G service its still useable.
Unless one of the negatives above is a deal killer for you, you'll love the phone.
