Ricardo Ricardo living with Jeremy Jackson wouldn't look too good considering who employs JJ's dad. I think I'd prefer that Ricardo stay in FL and recruit for MI down there. I don't really see what he gains by coming to MI this year. And since he is going to enroll early, it would basically be a transfer for one semester...just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Derrick Bryant It could be Raper, but as far as 2010 kids go, I'm going with D. Bryant. Just for kicks, I will guess that he commits on this coming Monday.
Rivals Rivals has said the same thing regarding Gholston.
Stevie Brown I think Steve Brown should be used in the Brandon Harrison role this year and be primarily a blitzer that covers only when absolutely necessary As far as starters, Cissoko and Warren are locked in at corner...I'd like to see Mike Williams or Justin Turner at FS and Brandon Smith at SS...If JTurner doesn't start at FS, he or Troy Woolfolk will hopefully be the NB
Montgomery I do not expect to land Montgomery. I am very apprehensive about his 4 visits. I think the best thing Michigan has going for them right now is that Montgomery visited before they got a DC and loved it. So hopefully just when the visit euphoria is beginning to wear off, MI's new DC will be able to head down to vist Montgomery and close the deal by renewing his excitement.
Hall or Montgomery Any info on either of those two? Or Mingo?
few commitments If few means 3, I think the most likely ones are: Denard Robinson DR's teammate and Travante Stallworth
stallworth travante seems to be all about michigan now that he is not going to be at auburn in all likelihood...that's great and hopefully he will commit soon
Triple Option That triple option play is awesome...it is almost a guaranteed 5 or more yeards each time I think there was another play in the game somewhwere where there was a swing pass that could have turned into an option also...a play like that would be ridiculous...and MI could run it to perfection with the number of qbs they are converting to slots Imagine Forcier to Gallon in the slot with Stonum out wide maintaining option spacing...that would be ridiculous...2 on 2 out wide with the option to pitch
USC USC has better odds than Florida? That's interesting. Hopefully RR has a 2nd season like some of the other elite coaches have had in the recent past.
Cissoko I think Cissoko will be back on kicks with Shaw hopefully so that the team can get its fastest guys back on kickoffs. I expect that Gallon will be back on punts.
this would be horrible...potentially a disaster of epic proportions
Mel Tucker If Mel Tucker is/was at all interested he would be by far my first choice for recruiting purposes. As far as schemes I don't know anything about him, but I figure if he could get a DC job in the NFL he must be pretty good.
midwest ties I like that he has midwest ties. Hopefully his Ohio ties will help MI recruit that state more effectively. His time at ND could serve him well in recruiting battles against them. Finally, he already has some Big 10 experience. Also, as a side note, when I looked up a couple things about him on Google, I think one of the sites said that he rides a Harley to work. Although entirely speculative, that seems to suggest that he might have a Muschamp-like craziness to him. Hopefully he will be a good recruiter at Michigan if he is indeed the guy.
that's unfortunate if true
Pahokee I think we have plenty of slots already. Even though Nu'Keese would be one of the best of them, I am more excited/intrigued by the possibility of further establishing Pahokee as a pipeline than about Nu'Keese per se.
Thanks for the inteview. Thanks for the inteview. Great to hear Forcier's understanding of the situation at UM and his appreciation of the opportunity to play there. Based on his words and the leadership ability they suggest coupled with his apparent talent, he will hopefully be the guy that RR can build the beginnings of a dynasty around.
Update? Any update about Mel Tucker?
