I've lived in San Antonio for the past 12 years but don't venture downtown that much. I can't comment on the bar situation but I've eaten at the Esquire many a time and always liked it.

The funniest thing about that is that the ASU players seemed to get more hyped than the Badger players, and then got a TFL on the ensuing play. Backfire!

I got to sleep in late, until 0730 until the kiddos wanted to play the Xbox. I'll give em a few minutes until Gameday comes on and my coffee is ready. But then they had the gall to have soccer games right during the Michigan game! Going to have to watch it on the Watch ESPN app to make it thru the day.
I was confused but excited that you were making an analogy between the singer Ryan Bingham and Jay Harbaugh, until I realized that was the name of George Clooney's character in that movie.
There are some great texas bands playing in Luckenbach today. Glad the military sent me to South Texas after UM, and I stayed after I got out. Lots of good music here.
Agreed. As a former Michigan native now living near Austin, its nowhere near as good a college town as A2. It doesn't even feel like a college town to me. It feels like all the other big ass texas cities, only weirder.
I did too, in those sh!tty ass apartments on State Street with the parking garage below them, next to what used to be an Espresson Royale on the corner of state/packard. The only redeeming quality of those apartments was the late night bells pizza, the close proximity to blue front and spots, and getting junk mail with Cato June's name on it. So basically it was an awesome apartment!

Backroom Pizza was the best late night snack walking home from the bar in my day. Well, if said bar was Ricks that is.
