Muskegon grad here. The tea leaves suggest he may be MSU bound. MSU is going after Muskegon QB La'Darius Jefferson hard. Jefferson has won most of Michigan's high school player of the year awards.
I'm sure Reed and Jefferson would love playing together again. I just wish it would be in Ann Arbor instead if East Lansing.
This could be good news For DJ Wilson.
LA will now have the 27th and 28th picks of the draft in the range Wilson is expected to go.
Draft Express had the Nets taking DJ at 27, Chad Ford and FS1 have LA taking him at 28:
Part of what made MLK so great was that, contrary to popular belief, he was a pretty radical dude.
He was arrested over 30 times while protesting believing, "One has a moral responsiblility to disobey unjust laws."
He called on U.S. leaders to scale down militarism, to form a multiracial working class coalition and to combat poverty.
"Everyone is worrying about the long hot summer with its threat of riots. We had a long cold winter when little was done about the conditions that create riots," King said in June 1967.
King was a Democratic Socialist who preached about resistance and strength as much as he preached about love. But many of these qulities have been sanitized out of history.
At least they gave us a point-system to work with that makes sense. I prefer this to list articles that read "I believe school x is No. 1 because reasons."
It looks like Michigan is the highest-ranked team with two national titles.
Harvel was the third coach in Detroit PSL history to win a state football title, joining Jim Reynolds (King) and Wilcher (Cass). Every state football title from the PSL has come since 2007.
In today's NBA, a player averaging 40 MPG is very rare. KCP was one of the league leaders in minutes at 37 per.
I believe LeBron averaged right under 40 this season.
I’d imagine at least part of it has to do with it being Black History Month. Bowie State is Maryland's oldest historically black university and one of the ten oldest in the country.
A few more interesting numbers from Tuesday's game:
- Minus Drummond, the Pistons were 22-of-23 from the line.
- After going 7-of-28 from the line thru the first 3 quarters, Drummond was 6-of-8 in the 4th.
They're actually shooting Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them right now.
It's set 70 years before Harry Potter existed and centers around Newt Scamander and his findings. It's supposed to be released next fall. Pretty stoked for it!
True, players like Ogden are one in a million. He also plays on the varsity basketball team. Not sure he'd be Power 5 caliber in basketball but I'm sure some teams would give him a look.
"Broyles said he, his wife and child live on a budget close to $60,000 a year, with the rest of his money going to investments and savings. Broyles is also frugal when it comes to spending on cars or his home."
He has an average yearly salary of $900,000, so his family is living off about 7% of his yearly salary. That's intense.
I noticed that LexCorp seemed to get their hands on General Zod's body. Seems like the rumors about Doomsday making appearances may be true, for better or worse.
Marvel has announced that Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) has been cast as Elektra for Netflix's 'Daredevil' season 2.
Season 1 was fantastic; Netflix seems like the perfect place for Marvel's darker, street-level heroes. Yung seems like a good fit for the role.
The perception of this film has been extremely negative ever since production began. I was pleasantly surprised by the teaser, but it will take a bit more to win me over.
Maybe one day Marvel Studios will get the rights back to all of their properties, including F4 and X-Men. Or maybe Fox and Marvel can negotiate a way for the characters to co-exist in the same universe. Alas, that may just be wishful thinking.

Looks like John is collecting interest in kind after helping Jim out these past few years.
I was pulling for them! Not sure how some of those guys don't have offers.
This kid from Belleville had one of the most impressive interceptions I've seen at any level!
EDIT: Southfield A&T beat Belleville 36-32. My apologies, ladies and gents!
I honestly hope the two women leave after the tire fire that was last week's episode.

Fire Up, Big Reds!
As a Muskegon High alum, it was great seeing Pimpleton out there making the same sort of plays he made back at Hackley Stadium.
Yeah Jefferson has swept all of the high school POY awards this year.
Terrance Taylor was the last Muskegon High player to sign with Michigan and that was back in '05. It's been far too long for my tastes.
He was their starting tackle in the '16 state championship game. I think he was eligible immediately because he transferred in from out of state.
Muskegon's OL was something to behold this year. For a size comparison, here's how the Big Reds stacked up against an NFL team.

What an awesome ceremony. So many great memories of watching him sink clutch baskets.
Bowie State is a member of the University System of Maryland. That relationship may have played a factor as well.

This look is based on the recent All-Star Batman & Robin storyline, feturing a more muscular and prison-hardened Joker:

Interesting stuff, if true. Where did you find it? Don't think I saw a source.
EDIT: Turns out i'm an idiot who can't read. Carry on.
