It was under helmet # 2. I don't remember the design on the helmet. I think it was a generic black color wifh the playoff logo. At least the little girl that they put in front of the camera got it right and won a prize.
I read your experience of that morning and thought "wow, mine was very similar." I believe you are correct. We probably were walking down the same street at the same time. It's amazing how many people we come in contact with or pass by during our daily lives. Some we interact with and most we don't. Each one of those people has their own stories and experiences. Your account is a reminder that the world can be a small place at times. Thank you for responding.
I was in my 2nd year at U of M. I was in class from 8-930 then I had another class from 10-1130. They were in the same building so I hangout outside in between classes. I sit down in the 2nd class and the professor walks in and says "It's horrible what happened. There was a plane crash in NY and fires in Washington." That was it. After class I walked back to East Quad to grab lunch and I saw the signs around campus that classes were canceled and counselors were available to talk to. I didn't realize the severity until I got up to my room and turned on the tv.
Unfortunately, I would learn that my father's business partner was related to the captain of American Airlines flight 11. The 1st of the planes hijacked and the first to hit the World Trade Center.
I remember him fumbling at the goal line but I couldn't remember which game. I was thinking it was one of the bowl games against Texas AM in 95 or Alabama in 97 but I couldn't find it. Thank you for letting me know it was Purdue 96. Those days seem like a lifetime ago.
We used to have a Defensive lineman that ran the ball in short yardage. William Carr, number 96. Check him out in the 1995 Purdue game when we won 5-0. Specifically around the 13 min mark in the 4th quarter. 2 carries in a row.
The 50 bonus points were most likely from letting the athletic dept keep your contribution money from last season. Then you would have only had to have paid for the tickets for this season. If you had donated your psc and had to pay for everything again this season, they would have given you 100 bonus points.
I don't think so. 17 guys had the flu this week so that hasn't helped. Plus the revolving door at kicker (4th this season) OL, TE, WR. The team that started the season is not the current team on the field. They'll be fine.
Tomorrow is the last day to sell hard tickets on Stubhub so there is time to mail them out. I sold 4 last week. Starting Tuesday, the supply is going to drop which means higher prices for the download able tickets. Something to keep in mind.
What an incredible story of determination and perseverance. They made a commitment to him as a 12 year old and kept their word. I can't imagine the difficulty of losing 1 eye at that age let alone both. Then to play in a game and be successful 8 yrs later.
Early Happy Birthday America! Here's to a great holiday weekend with nice weather, spending time with family and friends, and quality time with the grill.
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the cameo of Michigan winning the 1989 rose bowl. It was later New Years Day that one of the many domestic violence 911 calls was placed.
Russell Athletic made the jerseys. Watching the Fab Five documentary, you can see the R at the bottom of the untucked jersey when Chris Webber is walking off the court after the UNC championship game.
But Xpac had his original moment as the 123 kid beating Razor Ramone in an early episode of RAW. (Back when it took place in what looked like a warehouse.) He too started out being revered only to fail over time.
I am 1 of the few hundred "clinically insane" people that stayed to the end. The band did not play a post game concert. It was pretty much a "let's get the hell outta here" feeling.
I was leaning over the tunnel entrance (surrounded by Utah fans) and slapping hands with every Michigan player, coach, band member, cheerleader, ball boy that passed by. I could see the disappointment in the player's faces and felt the power of the hand slaps. It was a sense of "thank you for being here and supporting us until the end."
The weather was lousy at times and the game didn't go the way that I and others had hoped. In the end, I will remember this game for seeing the stadium virtually empty for the last 8 minutes of a real game and being able to slap hands and support the players as they exited.
Bill Belichick is not a member of the coaches' association. According to the story on espn /boston, this isn't the first time that he's skipped the photo.
He doesn't always come across as the nicest guy, but he provides results.

Best Buy sells the ps5 disc drive as a separate piece for $75. You're all set.

NHLPA 93, NHL 94, or Road Rash??? All quality games. Maybe NBA Jam on the Sega CD as well. Enjoy.
That was absolute garbage!!!
Reece Davis .. "Those who stay will be suspects."
Desmond should have knocked him off his chair.

How about the soccer coach from the Dr Pepper commercial. He seemed to be enthusiastic.

Yes, received the email around 10 am yesterday 12/20.

Edit: The tickets sold. Thank you to everyone that contacted me.
Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you. Michigan lost in 2011 in the all white bumble bee uniforms with white pants.
Samsonite. You were way off.

I just grabbed 3 tickets, center ice for both days $107 each. Can't go wrong. Individual day tickets are $53 each after fees.
I'd say that this is pretty accurate.
I seem to be in the minority in regards to your 1st metaphor. On a day in and day out basis, I'm happy with the latter.
I respect your opinion though.

I live in Ma and fly in for a few games a year and go to some closer away games. On average about 5 games a year.
