Whiny bitches. Really everyone's gonna just bitch about the officiating not the fact that we came out flat as shit for 3 q's or we continue to destroy rhythm by alternating Gardner with the same worthless set of Demard decoy plays? So is everyone upset simply because all the garbage worthless talk putting the cart before the horse and trying to figure out how we could back door our way into Indy and the Rose Bowl will no longer be a way to spend the day in front of your computer at work? I thought this community was way better and way more sophisticated than this. Or is it just that anyone who voices dissent like me get banished to protect the thin skinned herd? Take all my points, enjoy em. God forbid someone want s people to look inside for a reality check and some soul searching.
Does my comment get negged? Do you think Bob Davie, Tyrone Willingham or Charlie Weis would take that job again for the money? Going to Sout Bend has become a death march for very good coaches for a long time now. How is that innacurate or controversial?
They probably need Stanford to lose too otherwise it'll most likely be LSU/Bama if they run run the table and win SEC Championship game vs. Stanford. Boise doesn't have enough on their schedule this year to jump any remaining unbeatens
Watch this team and have the idea of "winning out" even come close to
<br>popping in their head? Look guys, we've come a long way and winning 8 or 9 games and going to a new years day bowl would be a huge accomplishment, let's concentrate on purdue and then worry about the B1G championship and tie breakers at the end of Nov. If it's still an issue.
They are probably recruiting a lot of the same guys. How the hell ND can still pull big time recruits is beyond me. Time after time ND comes out on the short end of games like these. At what point are they just no longer credible anymore?
Especially for Kiffin that's pretty level headed. They've got a big game next week so he's playing it pretty cool. Essentially saying they did everything they could to take us out of this game but we just showed it on the field. No big deal, props to our guys. Our guys got it done, businesslike. Now we move on to next week. Good stuff, I actually respect it.
That's the worst job in the country and has been since Holtz left. There is no winning in that shithole and with those fans. Even if you did win, unless you grew up kneeling to touchdown Jesus, it can't possibly be rewarding enough to be worth all that shit.
And not negging me for simply having a differing opinion--sincerely, that doesn't seem to happen much on this site. Sure I guess 1/3 is not likely so that make some sense. My bigger point is that we have no business having Rose Bowl expectations right now. I just think that's a bit premature for a still very mediocre team. I understand and appreciate the enthusiasm--I found myself losing some of the cautiousness from my cautious optimism following the secon half of the NW game but last week should've brought us all back to Earth. We are not going to be competitive with the top teams in the B1G right now. Not with our O-Line, inability to run and the kind of QB play we got last week. Yes we can flash brilliance at times and out D is light years ahead of where it was but that makes us a 9 win team, tops. Which is pretty good considering what we've been through the last few years. And the seniors should hold their heads up high for what they will accomplish, but I don't see the possibility that they leave with a B1G ring.
But I bet that killed a lot of the crowd. Then again there was a clear shot of people pouring out after the TD pass to the back of the endzone halfway through the 4th. Pretty pathetic. Somebody blowup that damn band--I'd probably leave too.
Huskers class is THAT bad? Really surprising. Maybe those top recruits aren't excited to play far from home. I wonder how schools like Okie St and Texas Tech are doing with kids that would've gone to Nebraska. There have got to be some schools picking up the fallout. Pellini should have kids wanting to play for him.
Why is TT running hurry up all 2nd half. The first drive in the 4th couldve taken 7 minutes off the clock but they keep snapping ball with 20+ on the clock.
How did they miss the Russel Sheppard TD for LSU? The guy was standing right there and he was 4 feet in the end zone when his knee hit. The goal line extends out of bounds so it doesn't matter if the ball crossed out of the field of play or not as the announcers spent 5 minutes discussing. Holy amateur hour.
Mark Richt in his place, then I'd be fine with them firing Zook. Otherwise I'd love to see him get a lifetime extension. If he did get fired, I'd love to see him get another job in the B1G. The play at the end of the 1st half just shows how poorly they are coached. Clearly no situational awareness on the field on the part of the players. No excuse for not going down and even worse trying to spike with 1 second left instead of throwing at the end zone. Terrible.
Come out next week and crush Purdue before I spend anymore time worrying about who needs to do what for us to win the division. Michigan should focus on Michigan.
That we have enough offensive onfield and coaching talent to figure out a way to make this work effectively but they just haven't been able to do so. Giving the reigns to devin is not the answer nut getting him in the mix in a way that isn't so disruptive to the flow of the offense could be. Now if we could just develop some flow in our offense we could potentially test out this theory.
Of a man but a really, really good coach. Zero filter. It used to be that coaching was a place you can get away with being that way, even thrive because of it but in this day and age it's just not the case.
Behind schools like Oregon wearing different unis each week is because they have no tradition so they unabashedly market themselves that way. Never realized that was actually the key to their onfield success over the last couple of years. Maybe DB is onto something afterall.

On the sword. You'll probably get negged a thousand times but it's the truth. We need to give them credit, look inward and move on already.
To us because we've become so irrelevant that they don't know who that tag belongs to? That's kind of sad actually.

And every week before that. How did we get to having a conversation about possibly going to the Rose Bowl?
TT is just manhandling them
I just don't see any big upsets here. OU losing would be great for the B1G getting a shot at the BCS

Rank right up there with ND.

Deserved to be as high as 11 but I think Sparty has shown enough to earn a spot in that neighborhood.
