Sadly the "chill" is merely a spectacle that probably won't get too much attention outside of the Michigan and a few other hockey following states. I've always liked Iowa as well. They consistently play smart, fundamentals based football. They slowly suffocate teams out of games by managing the clock and field position very well. I always feel like they win by kicking 5 field goals and winning 15-14. Also, while I don't really like Penn State or JoePa, the night game whiteouts in happy valley are pretty cool/intimidating to look at. |

I don't understand Holtz. Every year he picks ND to win the NC, and they haven't won a bowl game in 16 years. You'd think he would at least downgrade to ND winning ANY bowl game and then move on to winning the championship from there. ADDITION: I'm curious to hear what irish has to say on this subject... |
