However, to just sweep under the rug the recruiting coverage concerns as people looking to bitch about anything is a bit disingenuous. A lot of people have been rubbed the wrong way by numerous BB posts.
Asking why there was not such vitriol or negativity directed towards TVH would probably be a fair question in terms of site "self reflection." If we sweep every concern or criticism into the bucket of "trolling," the defense of the post or contributor in question loses any credibility.

And plays a very solid man to man or zone corner. He's not lock down elite like Deion, Champ Bailey, Woodson, and the few other rare ones that come around once every 5 years. Many think Peppers is that type of elite. I hope so.
And Raymon Taylor is very good in my opionion. Not sure why anyone would say he is not very good.
Last year...both OSU and Notre Dame undefeated...ND gets the ype machine for a month on their way to the national title game, and OSU gets the OMG Urbz is the best coach ever.
This year...MSU and OSU clearly the best teams in B1G. Could have one in the Rose the other in the national title game. The MSU has surpassed Michigan in football meme has grown exhausting and the OMG Urbz is SEC coach in B1G won't stop until they lose.

Sparty has a better more physical team. OSU is good, but also on an incredibly lucky run aided by our mediocre conference. OSU's good karma run needs to end...and it makes no sense why they keep getting such joy.
Basically their punishment for cheating was...1 meh year, 1 bowl ban, an upgrade at head coach, and 2 years of good breaks during a 24 game win streak. Would like to see Sparty finish what we couldn't
Basketball is not football. It's like a 30 game season and you will have plenty of highs and lows. They are young, injured, and have lost to a few good teams. Last year we had a stretch of 3 losses in 4 games I believe, and got blown out at MSU.
Nobody knows how good they will be or how far they will go in the B1G or tournament...but you can't read much into the team after 8 games. Get a grip people.
Despite all their #1 seeds and top finishes they often get upset in the 2nd or 3rd round of the tournament because they aren't playing at home where they get every fucking call.
I hate to bitch about the refs as an excuse, but that was so painfully obvious in the first half.
Obviously the O-line is a concern but there is depth here at almost every position. If the offseason goes well and players develop, I expect a huge improvement next year. Roster is starting to look like Lloyd late 90's teams. Hopefully the on field production follows.

Today's performance, specifically the O-line makes me feel much better about the direction of the program. Even though it is 1 game, the performance of an O-line can not be faked, a fraud, luck, or chance. You don't luck into a good O-line. I am not one for moral victories, but this bodes well for the future.
What I saw today was the interior line protecting Gardner and creating holes in the run game for the first time all year against decent competition.
My other huge concern was Hoke and staff getting completely outcoached by OMG Meyer. That was not at all the case today. Borges (still want him out) came out firing. Ultimately we lost because they have a senior O-line and two beasts running behind it, and we have a young D-line still that was overmatched.
If we take this type of performance into next year, we are on a good path. Hokes players never quit on him, played the whole season and always believed. Those are signs of a good coach.
I don't get all the Saban hate here. Bama was the one thing ensuring no OSU joy. Now they can weasel into the title game if they get past Sparty. I would rather have evil Saban win again, then deal with Meyer's buckeyes in the title game.

OSU is dynamic but not as brutally efficient. While their O-line and running game is damn good, I dont think they will be so successful up front with MSU's older, more physical d-line. I think they punich OSU.
O-line looked a lot better today...some progress may have finally taken place. Gardner is legit and this team again appears to be heading in the right direction.

From a football perspective, I am glad OSU won't luck into a Winston-less FSU team. Make them earn it if they do manage to get past Sparty.

Not that great. Was exciting, but was not great football. One mediocre team giving a good but incredibly overrated team an upset scare.
1) Unbiasedly, OSU is not a top 5 team. A pass defense that soft can not exist on an elite team.
2) Our run defense was a joke.
The offenses played well and the game was exciting, but a great game requieres good offense and defense on both sides from both teams in my opinion.
