I assumed the marshmallow thing was over (i was there for some of the more vicious frozen marshmallow incidents) but i had no idea the Bullwinkle song and slamming the opposing mascot into the goal post was extinct as well. I have to say the piped in music made me cringe but i accepted it, the lack of Bullwinkle time is anathema to me.
Seymour was not really utilized as a pass rusher in that defense. He was mostly tasked with taking up multiple blockers so that the LBs had gaps to attack.
That being said losing Harrison, Vrable, Bruschi, Seymour, Hobbs, and now Mayo is really taking it's toll on the D.
Dan Pees on the pass rush:
"We can always improve in the rush, but also some of it designed by gameplan to play some coverage and some of it was designed to put some pressure on them. We didn't always get there like wanted to, but really we've just got to improve in both the coverage part of it and the rush."
I have worked in dealer service as an advisor for 7 years. I can probably answer a lot of your questions, so fire away.
Blazefire, dealers are independantly owned and operated. Manufacturers have no ability to tell the dealers what to do. You can complain, and those complaints will be forwarded to the dealer, but they cannot force the dealer to do anything.
bj, the dealer i work at would have charged you $100 to tell you that. gas cap = evaporative system leak. Diagnosing this usually means they had to pressurize the fuel system and follow for the leak. The tech is gonna charge 1 hour labor for that. that being said, when a customer tells me their service engine light is on my 1st question is always 'did you just get gas? is the cap tight? check it and call me back'.
gordie, was the car new when you bought it? if so the remotes are probably covered under the factory warranty. i would guess at least 3 years, but i don't know what specific make you have. there are dozens of different extended warranties out there. some cover remotes, some don't. you can always call them directly and ask, it's possible the advisor is assuming they don't cover it cause so many don't and he never specifically checked. did you already try replacing the batteries in the remotes? if it's not the remotes themselves then yeah, i could see having to leave it off for a while, electrical diagnostics are a bear.
hope this helps
I don't know about the rest of you but I am hella-pumped about the upcoming season. I think it's gonna be somethign that for me Michigan football has not been in a while.... exciting. I think the offense will be dynamic and fst-paced, and the defense.... well the defense will keep us on the dge of our seats.
Are we gonna be 12-0, 11-1 or even 10-2. no i don't think so. will i root for and expect them to win each individual game? of course. I'll be okay with 7-5 but i will expect much more.
Go Blue
coffee at the fleetwood followed by a rousing game of punk rock basketball.
also, i second the notion of spending a great deal of energy avoiding impromptu high school reunions, so, no Arena and no 'hanging out' behind the heidleberg.
can you still get cheap Frog Island bottles at the 8-ball?
no centerman on your second line Hossa, Franzen, Huddler are all wings (not the red kind, the offensive kind). You need to replace one of them with Drapes, Helm, or Flipper
It's gonna be tough to give it up, this stuff is like water for me. I can switch over to Knob Creek, but I'm not gonna enjoy it (as much). Let's hope AA gets an anti-Ohio version soon so it can all balance out.
Brian, this post i so well written and so on point that I have been linking it almost exclusively to people who don't even know what a Michigan Football is. That, is great writing.
for AD in the base package but probably not so much in sub packages. Crable is on IR as the previous poster stated, but from what I had gathered his special teams performance was lacking and one reason he hadn't seen any playig time even prior to his shin injury. Also, AD is not out for the season at this point but it's still early.

I have a small maize and blue foam football signed by Ricky Powers, Desmond Howard, Elivis Grbac and a few others I don't recall.
