I posted a thread on this last year that got stickied in the mgoboard, its still there -
Here is my general advice (I am a sprint android user, if that gives you hope), and yes this worked as of last week.
4. To listen to the game on your Iphone or Android: 1. Go to the App store and get the free application "iheartradio". 2. Run the "iheartradio" app. 3. Go to the all cities link, and search for Grand Rapids, Michigan. 4. Search for the station WOOD 1300AM, the game will be on there. [Blue Okie provides an additional source: Big Ten Network app for smart phones also carries the radio broadcast for each team.] *How to listen to our announcers versus Pam Ward: In the past, the stream on the net was so far behind the video broadcast that you could use a DVR to hold the video for a few moments and the play by play would then catch up. This year at least in the first few games the mgoblue feed has been much quicker and thus you could not do this anymore. I am happy to report that as of yesterday the 'iheartradio' feed is significantly behind the video (at least on ESPNU) and thus you could listen to our announcers, and watch the video using a DVR to match the two up. |

I created a "how to" on this subject last year... You can find it in this mgoboard stickied thread - http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/listening-gameanywhere For most folks, follow what many have suggested above using tunein or Iheartradio apps, here is my advice from that thread: 4. I still cant process this, Killer was the reporter who provided a voice to anguished Lions fans year after year...a great all around guy. Wow he will truly be missed! |

I think as long as you are playing generally good rocking music you are pretty safe, heck get Jerry Sprague to play your tailgate, thats the best solution, we have done it the last few years.
But for the love of god dont do this, and then post it on the internet, embarrassing your university for all eternity:

RB is by far the easiest position in Football to come in and contribute. I have no idea of the talent of Rawls, because I have never seen him play. But I know who our current crop of RBs remind me of; David Underwood. Every year we heard how Underwood was getting better and could be the man this year. And every year he was just meh. Thank god Mike Hart showed up his Senior year or we would have been in big trouble. The early games that year before Hart started getting carries were just painful to watch. Aug |

He was a Michigan homer that just wasnt listenable. Everytime I listened all I could think of was that I or just about anyone I know could put on an equivalent product, he wasnt very good...Darn it DFN go get Art Regner, he is interesting to listen to and currently doesnt seem to do much more than fill in work on the radio.
