sorry, but if O'Korn is the starter, we have zero chance. we scored 10 points against Wisconsin. 10. Ohio state is the biggest rivalry in sports. we are doomed. I hope Speight or Peters can start.

Honestly it just feels like a rivalry in name only at this point. All of your OSU fans who grew up in the post-Cooper years (a rapidly growing number) have known nothing but wiping the floor with Michigan and watching OSU treat Michigan like child’s play.

They don’t respect the rivalry or Michigan football as a whole, and they have no reason to. They don’t define the season by beating Michigan anymore because it almost always seems like a foregone conclusion that they’re going to win. We walk into that game and we’re already down 10 points before kickoff. Just a huge psychological disadvantage.

Until we actually win the game, this really isn’t much of a rivalry anymore. Not to them anyway.

I said we need to win at least 1 of the last 3. Now we need to win 1 of the last 2. The difference between 8 wins and 9 wins seems huge as it relates to the state of the program and the mood of the players and fans.

I get that everyone says it goes in swings and we dominated the 80s and 90s. But those games Osu was always really competitive we just made more plays in the tight games. From 2001 to 2016 there’s been about 6 games out of the 13 losses we had. The other 7 loses we looked like a jv team out there as Osu played the second string the whole second half. This game is out of control and it’s not getting any better. They have the number one recruiting class for like the 9 millionth time in a row as we have a 25th ranked one or whatever it is. They always have better o linemen and d linemen and they have superior qb play every year. To be honest it’s not even fun to watch anymore.

I hate thinking about this game, this rivalry. It's so one -side now that the enjoyment is completely gone. I hate all their success, I hate their domination over Michigan. It's unreal and mind boggling. I hate that Jim Tressel changed the dynamic of the game and Michigan hasn't had an answer since.

That 2011 and 2013 will always be in my top 10. Last year pissed me off so bad and I'm still pissed. If I saw one of those refs out and about, I think I'd piss pound them in public and run away like a little school girl. I know the message is the same as last year though. There's no Samuels so the running game needs to be stopped again and it should be easier. Kill the head of the snake as always and thats Barrett. He got sacked last year a ton but he never got hit. You know the schmucks from down south will be coming to play dirty and cheap so I wouldn't let them get the upper hand. Return the favor and smoke Barrett all day on his little candy ass read options. Make him win through the air and contain him. Main focuses right there. The difference for him can be simply with how your fans act throughout the game. If the stadium is unbearable noise wise for him, he will struggle big time just like he did in Kinnick when he choked his guts out. He's fallible without his refs and home crowd. Those looneys at Iowa got to him. It can be the same in the Big House if your lazy ass alum pull their heads out of their asses and yell at the guy. Please make it a home field advantage once. Do it for us fans who cant be there to help out.

Not expecting a win this year or next. But if we can't beat them in 2019 then we should just shut it down.

Still, with the way recruiting is trending, not sure we can afford another outright pummeling next week. I'd love to flip Devontae Dobbs ... losing an elite in-state OL should be a bigger scandal than it is.

I'll have what you're having.

Going to a place we haven't won in since Clinton was in office, going up against all of Meyer's top 3 recruiting classes. Until we actually win there, I have next to no confidence that we have what it takes to beat them on the road.

Yeah yeah yeah everyone can say we should've beaten them on the road last year. Well....we didn't.

In terms of Harbuagh and the team's viability, a loss really doesn't make much difference. Given the injuries, no rational person, which doesn't describe about half the folks here, expects a win. That said I'll spend Saturday with a bunch of Michigan and OSU fans each of us rooting for our team.

Screw the injuries. It's football and anything can happen.

Go Blue beat Ohio anyway.

If Wilton plays, and that's a big if, I can see us play with a fire like we haven't seen all year. Wilton is our leader, and he has a passion for the game. I loved when he jawed the crowd at OSU after Hill punched it in. Please Wilton or Brandon, get healthy quickly.

It could happen. Start fast and don’t take the foot off the petal. Pressure the quarterback like he’s never been pressured. Don’t turn the ball over. Don’t miss tackles. Play every down.

And so one of my favorite weeks of the year begins...

Welcome Hate Week. While you haven't come at a convenient time, I will always approach you with excitement. Let's do the impossible. Go Blue.

This is tOSU's only super bowl. Unfortunately for us we haven't really had all of our pieces in place for this game...esception was last year. Refs got us good.

Oh how I hate Ohio State!!! Used to see this on bumper stickers all over town in the ‘70’s. It would make our year if we can win this game. Go Blue!!

Coach Brown, please have the back end prepared for CCR. Don't let them burn us on some stupid throwback or reverse. Do what you have to do to keep us out of bad matches in pass coverage. [Can Dobbins and Weber catch?]

OSU is beatable as OU and Iowa showed.  Personally, I think O'Korn gives us just as much a chance to win as Peters.  I thnk Peters is a little better passer (which isn't saying much) but O'Korn can make things happen with his legs.

We need Barrett to have an off day.  If he is on and doesn't turn the ball over, forget about it.  If he is off and throws a few int's, maybe we can get a few short field TD's.

The coaching staff has to bring thier A game.  For once, I would like to see our staff outcoach one of our rivals.  This is no longer an inexperienced team, they have a full season under there belt.  Make some plays and stop the mental errors.

From an absolute physical ability standpoint at this point in their career (key words there) I actually agree JOK gives as good a chance. But I said "physical". His problem, and pardon me for laying on a 22  year old kid, is in his head. When he should use his legs he doesn't, when he should check down he throws deep in double coverage, when he should throw deep he checks down. It's like the wires are constantly crossed or the game is just too damn fast for him most of the time.
