Yet another hype video (not mine)

Submitted by unWavering on

I just found this randomly on Youtube and wanted to share - it is probably the best hype video I've seen in the past few months and got me completely jacked for the season.

Note: I did not create this video, credit to Youtube user bigtech1842.  I just thought it was excellent and wanted to share with you guys.

Actual web link so you we can look it up on the Internet and watch it on YouTube.

It seems like whenever you link out to something from I'm Mgoblog the audio doesn't come through.

Does anyone else find it hard to be pumped up by clips from MSU and OSU losses? Not trying to be a downer, just getting sick of reminders that we've lost far too many games to those schools in the past few years.

Some good clips in there definitely, and overall not a bad video. They did pick some good clips from 2012 Northwestern certainly - I had not thought about how good it felt when Demens stood up and said "NO" on that last play at 4th and 2. The clip from the 2012 Minnesota game where Gardner makes something from nothing and finds Dileo was a great memory too.

Anybody remember the black and white hype video that was really sad about the rich rod years that turned to color half way? That one was so emotional for me. I'd love to see it again if anyone knows which I'm talking about. It was from a few years ago.

Why do all of these hype videos have terrible, dramatic, slow, boring music? The purpose of a hype video  is to get hyped up. No one is going to get hyped up listening to that crap. Take a page out of the ESPN book and put together highlights to something trendy and upbeat.

I'll never get enough of Hoke's reaction at 3:33 of that video.  I hope this year's defense makes him throw his arm out of the socket with a lot of plays like that one by Demens.
